I remember reading that they eventually cut down on the destuction by modifying one into a “jump truck” by moving the engine back to basically make it mid engine, and added axle trusses, a suspension seat, rear ballast, etc.

Agree. Walker’s GMC was a way cooler truck than the Ram that had been drug through the Mopar accessories catalog.

Nailed it. I was newly engaged and a new Paramedic on L.A. County FD. We had GMC by then though. Still had pussy practically flying through the windows. You wouldn't believe the puss this ugly mug turned down.

Truck. Not rig would be Uncle Jesse's especially driven by Daisy

Followed by the fast and furious Lightning

Only because I had the same exact truck I bought brand new before the movie and it towed my wild street car to events and my ex drove the Lightning in the truck class. Ran 11.8's and was my DD/ tow rig....

that's fucking insanity

an '84 454 on propane was my favorite truck, evar

i don't know that i'd swap it brand new for my current '17 powerstroke but i'd damned certainly make whoever owned it a strong fucking offer

but honestly, look at all that diesel smoke!  that's why we're in a mini ice age now, all the diesel pollution from the '70s
