For those who didn't get a chance to really watch it (I hate video links in general). I shall recap: 4 traditional CIS looking folks are quietly holding signs protesting a drag-show event, on a street corner at 2700 Tillar Street, that was being hosted by the Fort Brewing and Pizza company. An item of curiousity, as several of the Ft Worth microbrewers are now hosting such events. Coincidentally, that's close to the Fort Brewery and Pizza; who were hosting a brunch Drag Show - on a Monday, because that's a thing some of the Ft Worth area micro-breweries support. (NOT Rahr btw, who don't cater to that shit - just saying) They got accosted and Assaulted by masked helmet wearing tactical'd out armed ANTIFA types, who then pepper-sprayed the 4 protesters who were simply holding signs. FtW PD responded in force, apparently due to a response call. In the interest of respecting the cause in question - I shall not presume to assign sex, but simply refer to black clack gender confusion focused participants respectfully, in the gender neutral term of "Thing". Thing1, who sprayed, who thought Thing1 was anonymized by being in all black - was not, since there was continued video surveillance on the area. Surveillance not controlled by the FBI, or an Austin DA or PD. Thing1 was approached at told to come with the police. Thing1 refused, and ran away, and resisted. Thing1's friend, Thing2, in the excitement, came to assist Thing1 - and so was also taken down and arrested. FW PD made it clear, if either Thing reached for their firearms, they would be shot. Then, upon finally being arrested, Thing1 showed the predictable degree of stoicism of a Thing armed with an assault rifle and friends and helmet; cried for help ever 2 seconds, as being led away. Enter Thing3, who must have been hitting the drag-show buffet the whole time up until now - charges down the street to where the police have already secured Thing1, in order to Render Aid, as the Thing-party medic; apparently. This was not well received by the police, who pushed Thing3 away, and said they were taking care of it. Thing3, who i suspect has romantic or perhaps sexistly maternal feelings for Thing1, and feeling guilty at heretofore having been distracted by the buffet until now, does not let down, over-compensates. But perhaps I over extend my filling in the blanks here unfairly. So anyway, Thing3 becomes arrestee #3. meanwhile, the Ft. Worth DA is basically the complete counter to the Austin DA. Things 1 -3 have a pretty good chance of ending up in court. And why not, since they are obviously funded and backed, the unlimited Soros money is gonna flow to get them bailed anyway; time for some new squad cars and radios. |

It takes assault up from a 2nd degree felony, to a first degree felony, if you assault someone while using or exhibiting a deadly weapon (firearm). Open carry of a firearm, is exhibiting, as far as I know. That's now a first degree felony level assault. 4 counts in fact, since Thing1 is being charged for all 4 of the people that. That upgrade changes penalty from "up to 1 year" to now "2 to 20 years"; per count that is. Don't know about Thing2, but I suspect that entity was also armed. Thing3 probably wasn't, and my guess is that entity will walk. Since Thing3 projects itself as a female, such statistically get much lower prosecution rates for the same crimes as committed by the privileged males, do. Thing3 probably will walk, is my guess. Thing1... I wouldn't bank on it - this ain't Austin. It's actually a functional city with a functional judicial system. |
