Dragunov. Legit Russian model, not the bastard child commbloc shit. Mostest accurate sniper rifle ever built. Super awesome. Much Russian. Worldwide recognition.

Dunno why, but goddamn do I want one (And the necessary ammo to go with it)

Was looking for them on gunbroker for a while and about two months ago, they all went up in price.  They were around $600, then all jumped to like $800-900 or more.

Talking to a dealer, he said they make a few, then mothball, then make a few, then stop again, thus the price is just weird and the market is off.  Seems like an odd business model, but I guess...

Noice.  I have enjoyed the revolver stories you shared.
Dad had a couple that we shot a lot as kids.  I have a 686 and a Model 10, enjoy shooting both, and occasionally carry the Model 10, but neither are quite the same.

I want a Solothurn, at the 1957 price of $189.50, and about 10 cases of the $0.75 per round ammo. I don't think it's too much to ask, really.

And a WW2-era L60 Bofors.

Springfield M6 survival rifle in stainless .22/.410.  Utterly useless and incredibly overpriced. I've wanted one for years, but refuse to pay more than $400 for one. I just think they're cool in the same way those '80s survival knives with the fishing tackle in the hollow grips are cool. Best of all, I have two young boys just getting started in shooting who would completely geek out at the whole "it's a rifle AND a shotgun" idea. But they're insanely priced.  :(

I picked one up a few weeks ago after hunting for it but the kaboom issues were a couple years ago, and all other info about them is mid2010s when they were starting to get introduced.  Figured I'd have heard of the kaboom issue, but didn't... or I probably wouldn't have bought it.  Still zero rounds downrange... may stay that way.

Eeep.

@falfox which model?

As for me I'd love to have  T/C R22, I didnt jump fast enough when they first came out and were cheap at Cabelas. They changed the state law and I've stopped buying firearms (10 day wait and I have to take a class to buy/transfer semi auto rifles through a FFL, no private sales here anymore)

I accidentally won a 5.5" like new on Gunbroker a few weeks ago for $805.  That's about $270 below dealer cost on them, when the distributors actually have them in stock.

Oh wait, I know why. A modern day pump action rifle chambered in .357 Magnum and .38 S&W Special.... that's why! It would be a great partner to my revolvers. Yeah, I can break down and just buy one at the current outrageous prices they're going for. But I'm always on the hunt for them at the "good price".

So what are you after?

Yep, I'm looking for one as well.
Once I get a nice shooter I'm gonna throw a Geissele trigger in it, add a Stormwerkz 90 degree selector, and then pay that damn $200 tax and cut the barrel down to 10.4".
It'll be a helluva handy little rifle.
Need it to fill out the Daewoo collection...

A Garand receiver, so I can finish my BM-59 build.  I was seeing them sold for decent prices not too long ago, but didn't have the money for them.  Now I can't find one for a decent price.  Wouldn't cost much more to get a complete CMP Garand.

Previously, when I was going to go a different way with my build, a Beretta Garand receiver.  I still want one for a future build, but am not in the market right now unless a great deal comes along.

A military 1911A1 frame for a MEU (SOC) pistol build would be nice, too.
