Zero aggression or real commitment.

Gotta hand it to the left/uniparty. They are relentless in their pursuits. 1000x more active than the “right” in setting, working towards, and achieving goals. Lots of participation, planning, recruitment, and impetus. It all comes down to who desires it more, and it’s not looking good. Most of us can’t agree on anything, and are afraid to associate with each other. Lots of paranoia and trepidation. No preparation.

Stuck playing defense.

This is a huge mindset problem. As well as a tremendous weakness, which is constantly pounced on and taken advantage of. There is zero real movement to reclaiming lost rights, returning to adherence to the bill of rights and constitution. It’s a recipe for losing and watching the sands of time and essence slip through our fingers. To meagerly and weakly cling to ideals, while constantly redrawing lines in sand, and backpedaling, at most complaining… is a recipe to be bullied and pushed around.

Most “conservatives” are anything but.

I’d wager 95% of the entire country loves socialist ideals and big government/authoritarianism. Lots of suckling the teet, and I don’t see that being given up. Look at any thread discussing abolishing Social Security. A fair amount of Stockholm syndrome as well. Many conservatives habitually follow all laws and regulations.. including the unjust. A large part of even this very forum would consider the founding fathers terrorists today, and would cheer them being bombarded by uncle sugar.

Fear.

When the declaration was made almost 250 years ago, the founders pledged to put their life, liberty, and property at stake in pursuit of becoming truly free from the chains that bind. The literature and citations are plenty, regarding the spirit of liberty. That spirit is completely gone, and we have a mess of people that are fine just having theirs, for as long as they can, and to hell with posterity. Look how many watch what they say or write, are careful who and what they affiliate with, and are the exact opposite of emboldened as the Left is. All the anonymous “molon labe” and “come and get it” is a fear-based front.

Comfort/laziness.

Our standard of living is the best of any people in the history of mankind. Very, very few in this day and age would give up stability and creature comforts to pursue any principles. Entertainment is the opiate of the masses, and as long as the majority of the right has beer and sportsball, they couldn’t give a goddamn how much of their paycheck is stolen and used against them. I bet even a 90% effective tax with complete abolishment of the bill of rights (we’re already pretty much there) would get anybody moving. Yet lots of dirty hippies who are willing to live in tents, take time from work, or make sacrifices to achieve their ends, most of which barely even truly believe, or were simply coached to follow.

Demographics

We’re well aware of the mass importation of third-worlders in the successful attempt at subverting our voting mechanisms. How many “Free States” are now purple/blue? With no firm shutting this down, it is the complete death of past ideals. The best hope would have been balkanization, but now, at best, there will be little pockets of resistance, in a new community that absolutely will throw them under the bus, and a beloved over-reaching big govt that will gladly burn and shoot them, with the support of much of the right.

The uniparty.

How could it be any more clear that the GOP, even the NRA is ABSOLUTELY NOT ON OUR SIDE? And most of us will continue to vote for the supposed “lesser of two evils” when they are both sides of the same coin. That’s exactly how the frog boils. Real patriots would vote by principle, and prepare for the inevitable outcome. “Get the party started” while truly voting their heart and inner constitution, checking off the boxes and being able to say that we did everything we could to avoid what happens next. Instead we have bitter clingers who are ok with everything being taken and legislated away, because it’s their guy doing it. Largely for the above reasons.

I’m well aware that there are a (very) small amount of true “3%ers”, who read the Declaration with a beating heart and a swelling of emotion, who swore an oath and take it very seriously, as opposed to just saying whatever they have to, to get a job, then immediately stepping all over it because, “just following orders.” There are some that seriously plan, organize, train, and prepare, but there’s so much missing that it will be snuffed like a candle when the flag goes up, to the obedient, timid and fearful cheering, not chagrin, of almost the entire “right.”

99.9% of the tough talk is masturbatory fantasy BS, and I wish it weren’t so.

" Very, very few in this day and age would give up stability and creature comforts to pursue any principles."

These things need be taken in order to achieve Communism. It has nothing to do with principles.

This is when killing will kick off. Later on the winner cares about "principles".  When the British took stuff (taxes without any say, homes, life etc - see the intolerable acts/etc) by force without any say is when ppl got musket balls in the face.

So if this ever happens, you will be wrong.

Americans are fat & lazy.  The “American Dream” has also changed—why kill yourself with hard-work & personal-sacrifice when you may fail & be worse off?

This once great country favors mediocrity & laziness.  Vote in people who will give you tax dollars to do nothing.  Import more people who want handouts to secure Fabian’s war of attrition.

It’s sad—but it’s here.

Things already are breaking down.  Just look at the sanctuary cities movement.  These are already break-away governmental units.

And it will continue, but it will happen over time, not instantaneously like a stupid Hollywood disaster movie.

And when things do finally come to more wide spread violence, it will be sporadic and spread out over time and space in various places around the country.

And I do not believe it will be a simple "Two sided" affair like the U.S. Civil War.  It will be much, much messier.  Stop thinking U.S. Civil War and start thinking European Thirty Years War.  Multiple fault lines; ethnic, class, political, religious, regional.

And I do not believe that any of the more violent part is right around the corner, but will unfold in spasms over the coming century.
