Had one just like this but blue and white, 1988 K2500 4x4 long bed. It was my grandfather’s that he passed down to me. By time it got to me it was blue, white, & primer gray form paint flaking off lol

View Quote Took two pages for the correct answer. I have an 83 GMC 2wd SWB Dad has my grandfather’s 95 GMC 2wd SWB If I found a clean 95-98 SWB ext Z71 I’d get it. But 67-72 are prettiest |

Favorite? Probably not but they are good trucks. I loathe just about every newer truck.

And unless you’re posting old power wagons, Dodge has never made even a decent looking truck.
Dodges have always been hideous |

Ahh......Chevy trucks. On a quiet night you can hear them rust.
OP must have never saw a RAM, or some of the Fords. |

I miss my 99 1500, whomever thought of the A/C vent to the nuts under the steering column is a genius. I graduated to 2500 HD's afterwards.

Definitely better than the ford of the same generation. That said, I like the Fords of the prior generations as well.
5'5" truck truck beds are just not right. |

Neighbor had an extended cab Z71 in dark blue in the mid/late 90s. It was the sexist thing I had ever seen, and all I ever wanted in life. That was before crew cabs became the norm....

I was looking at those and the very few 2 door full sizes for sale out of curiosity a few days ago and prices are beyond insane for something in decent shape now. Would love to have one of either. |

Bought a brand new loaded Silverado extended cab back in '95. The perfect year for Chevy trucks... new interior; pre-Vortec.
Best truck I ever owned. Still kick myself for selling it. |

The days when you could walk up and look over in a bed and a truck could actually fit something in the bed.
They were nice looking trucks for sure. |

Never understood why they would put squared wheel wells for a round tire.
