Nighthawk handguns. They have reached full on custom master smith prices in a production line setting. Yes I know they tout “one gun one smith” but it’s still a slated production assembly line overseen by a master or two not built by a master.

People are better than they used to be in my opinion but nobody cares... you can probably find 1000 living people that draw better than the famous artists of old. I'm sure some sophisticated connoisseur will be able to tell the difference between a Picasso on my beer ships this morning but besides the price tag I cant.

In 20 years, the Rolex will be worth 2x - 3x more than you paid for it and the Casio, well, nothing. BMW R1200GS Adventure - my current bike does exactly the same, but I've been lusting after the 1200GS for a while. Stupid expensive parts, but damnit, I want one. Omega Speed Master is on the list, as well. |

The stainless case is hammered. And it still tells the time 87x better than any Rolex ever made, ever.

I bought a bottle of Van Winkle not knowing what it was about 10 years ago. Paid $60 for it. It was different and I hadn't seen it on the shelf before. I drank it all. I wasn't that impressed by it at all. I'd rather drink 1792 Full Proof.
