Quoted: Yea, kinda funny how you can be disparaged for the date you joined a forum. Up until 2013 I was a guy who owned a few guns, then all the talk of a ban got me (many of us) to be active and yet hear we are 10 years later still dealing with the hate. View Quote You aren't going to make any headway against this basic human nature. |

Quoted: Every time people start to forget 13ers were a thing, some 13er has to make a thread and remind everyone. http://i.imgur.com/FovVqP2.gif View Quote That's possibly the most 13er thing a 13er could do. |

Jeez, 10 years already? I haven't really prepared a speech or anything like that. These years sure have flown by. People cum and go. But we're still here. We haven't pulled out yet.
13'ers are the taint of Arfcom. Damn, It's getting dusty here. |

I tried to join in Feb 2012 when I bought my first AR but they had the rule about not allowing email accounts from certain providers so I said screw it and just lurked until 2013. Glad I did! 13'ers rule!!

This thread makes me feel old and like I may have wasted much of my life.

Sadly, history has demonstrated that us 13ers were mostly correct.

ETA: If I hadn't lurked (sp) so long I would have been a 13er |

The early 13’ers already have their flair. 12-15-2012 and later accounts.
There had to be a record set for the number of thread locks that year. |

Almost ten years to try to forget what twat waffles 13ers were and now we're back to square one.

I remember eye balling that colt 6920 at walmart. Wondering if I should spent $900+ on a new gun. Then the girl behind the counter said don't worry they're not going anywhere.
Then a couple weeks later sandy hook happened and it took me months to get one. Still wasn't as hard as trying to find a ps5. I ended up getting a sig m400 for $1300. Didn't know anything about it so I went home and started researching and discovered this website. I got sucked in reading a thread about someone freaking out about finding an RFID chip in their lower. It was a tensioner sig puts in to make the upper and lower have a tighter fit. |
