JESUS CHRIST!
The hits just keep on comin'. S2's girlfriend, to whom he was planning on proposing to within the next 6 months, just broke up with him. Apparently, she wants to take a "time-out" to contemplate her future. I don't feel any animosity toward her, though. I'd rather this happen sooner rather than later if it had to happen. I'm really concerned about my son because I know depression can be hereditary and I've battled in the silent war all my life. He's at home crying and completely heart- broken. I just wish I could be there to hug him. I made him promise me he wouldn't isolate himself and he agreed. He'll be spending a lot of time with friends in the next couple of weeks, as they have all already reached out to him. If you're the praying type, he could use some. |
