  Just came in the mail today! I doubt it's had a box of ammo through it, if that...there wasn't much carbon under the extractor at all and just about none in the frame. It's way nicer than I thought it would be...not sure I'm gonna use it as a pocket carry gun like I bought it for

I own over 130 handguns but I am not sure I consider any of them cool, except maybe this one, but only because it's 80 years old and shoots pretty good, especially since I painted the front sight green.

Just got this one:
 The only gun I’ve bought solely cuz it looks cool:  Marginally cool. Anniversary model. Cool that it’s retro, but I guess not actually 1911 pattern (1918?). Whatever, it’s the only time I wanted a 1911.  I swear I had a better pic of the P7, but hell if I can find it. This is the only one I’m seeing.  |

Any blemishes on your coating, heard quality control from the company they were using wasn't up to par. CGW was not satisfied with sending guns back to customers like that. @HBIII That coating is the best of the best though; takes less lubrication, no rust issues, pretty durable and think there was one other thing besides I liked the look. (at least these were the things I was reading about it anyway, not sure if any of it was overhyped). |
