In general, the office of President is pretty much a figurehead role. Further, in his current deteriorating condition, Biden is even less than a figure head so he doesn't "run" anything and has pretty much zero "power."

Therefore, anyone who takes "power" after him, will have about the same amount of power that Biden has today -- that is zero.

The people actually in "power" who actually "run" shit are largely unelected and are not usually household names.
