Ok, everyone is missing the big picture.
Yes, Jews are huge in finance, media, academia, medicine, law and whatever else. They aren’t big on the assembly line. They won’t be found gutting chickens in Alabama. They probably won’t be driving combines in Kansas or mining coal in WVa. American Jews are not bound by religion, IMO. They are bound by culture. They are, like others, tribal—and there is only one tribe. They have an incredibly strong family unit—a multi-generational family unit. They have incredibly strong communities—even driving them to live in proximity to other Jews. They promote education (possibly to a greater extent than the Asian community). If given a choice between helping a Jew or Gentile in business, they default to the Jew every time (unless they need punished or have somehow been kicked out of the Tribe). In short, they behave as traditional tribes have behaved for millennia and, yet, we find it odd. We find it conspiratorial. We see evil in that because we, in America, no longer believe in Tribalism—except for those (in the minority) who do. TC |
