What gets me is how they want to portray one of these shootings as a cold blooded killing. There are risk involved everyday when faced with these situations. Police have to make split second to shoot, not to shoot decisions based off the last 20 or so seconds of their interaction with an individual. People seem to forget that this was a FUCKING THIEVING THUG SWERVING THROUGH THE STREETS HITTING COP CARS AND PUTTING INNOCENT PEOPLES LIVES IN DANGER!!! If the cop pulls someone over and walks up to the window and shoots a mf'er in the head, that's cold blooded murder. If you get shot after not following police orders and walk up to the window of a cruiser and commence to whaling on an officer, YOU FUCKING DESERVE IT!!!
If you dont want to end up in situations like this, don't be a fucking thug. Pretty damn simple. |

I would be shocked if they actually have a full forensics report already. Was there a round recovered? Is there any damage to the vehicle consistent with a round going through and striking him in the back? Was the entry wound at an angle? Autopsy report was July 30th, 3 were stripped of police powers the same day as the autopsy report.
An 18-year-old man fatally shot by Chicago Police officers Thursday night in the South Shore neighborhood died of a gunshot wound to the back, an autopsy has found. The Cook County medical examiner’s office ruled Paul O’Neal’s death a homicide on Saturday, a day after two of the three officers who opened fire on him were “relieved of their police powers” because they might have violated department policy in the shooting, CPD spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said.WBBM |

A paramedic could have said that. And homicide is any death that may have been man made. It still says nothing of what was recovered, the scene, etc. I'm not saying the officer who cuffed him didn't shoot AT him, but was it his round that struck him? That whole excerpt can be summed up thusly: Coroner ruled the death man made; officers were stripped of police powers while investigation continues. I still want to know if there was a projectile recovered, and if so, have they matched it to a weapon? All I've seen so far is police shot, perp died, investigation on going. |

Sure seemed like the cops thought the BG was armed and firing at them. Hell, one guy didn't know if he was shot or not.
What did the shooter know at the time he pulled the trigger? He was in a foot pursuit of a felon who tried to kill officers by running them down and was possibly shooting at cops. I'm keeping an open mind on this one until we get more facts. In the mean time ZFG if Shitcago burns to the ground. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

So where is the inflammatory video? All I saw was a criminal try to ram police officers and heard him get shot. That video proves nothing except that once again a violent criminal got shot trying to kill police.

Three officers involved in the incident have been stripped of their powers, after Johnson said he had questions about the shooting after reviewing that video this weekend.
“I am left with more questions than answers,” Johnson said Sunday. “Departmental policies may have been violated during this incident.” Johnson reviewed body camera and dashboard camera videos, and said he found them troubling. He stripped three of the four police officers involved of their police powers, and handed the investigation over to the Independent Police Review Authority, which hopes to complete its investigation within 60 days. A new policy enacted in the wake of the Laquan McDonald shooting scandal also requires videos from all police shootings in Chicago to be released within 60 days.WBBM |

Video shows many cop cars chasing dude in neighborhood trying to trap him to stop the car, light impact with one police vehicle as bad guy tries to swerve around, police on foot shoot at car during that, guy hits next police car hard one block down, flees on foot, many police involved in chase, lots of shots fired, at least some police thought the bad guy was shooting. Guy down and cuffed in back yard about 5-6 houses down the street from where he went into first backyard. You don't see the shots or the bad guy after he was shot, or anytime after he enters the first back yard. The attorney is using a lot of guessing if that is the video that made him think they killed him in cold blood. Maybe it wasn't ideal to shoot this guy in hindsight, but I don't have a problem with it based on the video. Dude was clearly a very dangerous criminal. View Quote Videos show the BG right at a back door to a resident. If he was attempting to gain entry justified shoot. The guys running with their pistols out is bad juju. |
