I lost interest in that show around the time...

I was surprised how young the actress that played his wife was.  She has that look of a woman over 40 that’s had a lot of plastic surgery, but it turns out she had just turned 30 when the series started.  She’s a pretty bad actress as well, IMO.

I like Tremors too, but I don’t think movies with made up creatures would count.

Did you see the first sequel?  If you loved the original you might find it decent.

I think man-eating insects the size of tanks would probably not count. I mean you can get away with some size increases and still count (like Deep Blue Sea or Lake Placid) but taking something that weighs about 5 mg and having it weigh over a ton is pushing it.

A silly comedy from 92.
A husband and wife are trapped inside a TV world jumping channel to channel.

The 80s era pop culture references all over the place make it worth the watch.

Already finished season 2!  Great series.

I was concerned they would screw up S2 due to the absence of the Eric Heller character.  They did good!  The CIA chick has 9 lives.....

I just read they are supposed to start filming Season 3 in late August, to be aired in 2021.

I finally got around to watching it this past weekend.  Although slow at times, I kind of enjoyed this one more that S1.

No more “Come and find me.”  More like, “Now, I find you.”

Watched Alien Invansion S.U.M.1 today.

I liked it.
Got a little slow in the middle, but the end is great.

Stars the guy who was the insane flayer bastard from Game of Thrones.

A buddy recommended this series after talking about how much I liked Bodyguard.  The same guy who did that made this series, Line Of Duty, and it's just terrific.

If you put it side by side with some of our procedural dramas, I think the Brits do a much better job with them than we do.

Amazon has the first four series with series 5 just shown on BBC:

I had to ice some of my body parts today, so I watched a 3-part series on the life of Muhammed. His life was far different than the coo on portrayal here on GD. Worth a watch. Fast forward through some of the nonsense, to the end, where, like all lives, the dross falls away and the essence is revealed. It's his followers who fucked the whole thing up after his death.

Also, "A Man Called Ove." He is the quintisential Arfcom fudd brought to the screen. The book was AMAZING. The movie is good, in Swedish, with English subtitles.

Was on a prison movie kick last year.  Brawl in Cell Block 99 was very gritty, but good (just not something my wife could have watched).

Without Remorse was one of my favorite books.  I can only assume they will fuck it up to the point it is unrecognizable.  It suffers a problem that Hollywood can not stand not attempting to fix - it is dated.  They will try to move it from then to now, then coat it with SJW and PC crap.  I can not imagine it being more than 1/10 as good as the book.  Hell, it will be like what they did to Jack Ryan - use a few names and fuck up the rest.

Amazon's jack Ryan is at least in the spirit of the character, Without Remorse needs to be a kind of dark vigilante justice executed by a supremely dangerous, intelligent and controlled person.  Tough casting for anyone to pull off Clark/Kelly, Liev Schreiber is the closest they have come.

It is a very good movie, it gets kind of unbelievable and cartoonish in the latter half, but it's very much worth watching.

If you like it, watch Shotcaller starring Jaimie Lannister. It's basically the same movie.

I wouldn't call it cartoonish. I thought it became almost mythic-kind of a "Heroes Journey" feel.
