Whoah! Nice! He is carrying GBU’s in the pull over, not AIM-9s. I saw that when the GIF was posted LOL. Soooo, what is the G-rating for those pylons with a load mounted?

I'm betting he's actually piloting those. Not tandom or cgi.

So, you think Navy gave him the keys to an F18?

Damn that was beautiful.  Count me in for theater tickets.

Based upon how he has handled stunts and being told he could not do a particular stunt in the past he may have bought an F18 so he could fly it.

Good, because there's been so many fakes trailers posted lately.

I heard they were trying to get an F14 flying again for this, I wonder if it happened.

That was pretty good. Hopeful it turns out well.

The wings being pounded into the coffin reminded me of the bit from the seal movie from a few years ago.

He was a LT in 1986, so he's got at least four years in, right? Figure a 1982 Commissioning. It's 2019, so a minimum of 37 years. Shouldn't he be wearing stars on his shoulder boards by now?

That was "Present Day."  This is also probably going to be "Present Day" so the timeline is whatever they want it to be

Well no, but you know it will be a cool intro, 3 awesome flight scenes, lots of horrible acting and a chick who will look like shit in 30 years, and an awesome finale scene.

Who noticed the pressurized space helmet?  That's not an F/A-18, F-35, F-22 helmet.  Looks like an SR-71 helmet + a generation or two.  I'm guessing test flight of a hypersonic space plane:

Correction, I think it is an SR-71 helmet, check out the sun visor hinge:

Isn’t flying that low over the desert going to suck in a load of sand and disintegrate the engines?

Will watch anyway

He has or had a P-51 years ago.

Would the Navy let a civilian fly a mil plane solo?

Does the rear seat have flying capabilities?

I agree.  Anytime they wait 30+ years for a sequel you know it's going to be bad.

Tom Cruise would have been booted out after hitting 30 years as a Captain.  Ed Harris is too damn old to play anyone who is active in the military.
