Definitely red oak
I'd chop off that punky rotted sap wood, with an axe or hatchet.  It will hold more moisture and potentially cause you some creosote problems.  Plus lots of bugs which will come into the house with the firewood.    The heartwood will burn nice and hot, once seasoned.
