For me it was a stainless 10-22 with a Butler Creek folding stock. Eventually I found a used rifle in great shape & got it set up just how I wanted when I was a kid. Shooting this thing still brings a smile to my face as I flashback to 80s nostalgia & simpler times. Now I’m just fighting off the urge to SBR it.

I wanted a m1carbine pistol like the sidekick on The Equalizer.
I wanted m1a and AR like the ones I got with a GI Joe set in the 70s. I also thought the ARs the guys in the first SWAT tv show had were cool

Colt Ar-15 Delta Elite. The one with the rubber coated scope, and the cheek riser on the stock. Back in the 80s, my dads Guns and Ammo magazines were filled with pictures of that thing, wanted one bad.

Had the 10/22 with Butler Creek folder the OP mentioned. It was awesome. I ordered the stock C.O.D., back when that was a thing for mail order.

Pretty much have acquired most of what I wanted, except for a Daewoo with a collapsible stock.

I have a shitload of 80’s era guns....

I think it turned out to be a Crosman 760 that my parents finally got me. I would set up little green army men on a dirt mound and blast away. Sound effects and all! What a blast I had.

Was going to say that. I never owned one, but used to be on great terms with the LGS, could sign out most any used firearm in inventory to play with. Found the SPAS was heavy, complicated to run, and pretty much useless. Cool, but useless.

That appears to be an M12 S from what I can see in the pic (selector lever instead of the two buttons (selector and safety) the original M12 had. One damn nice SMG, no idea how many transferrables there are on the registry. AWC used to make a can for them that was mounted on a compatible barrel nut. Effective, but 12" long and heavy.

The M3 I had never worked. Of course, that was during the infancy of the Internet, so there wasn't much support in getting stuff to work.

Never owned an SMLE.
