You really think people are excited (outside of the Trump circle) about having to choose between two 80 year old morons who have no concept or concern about the constitution?

“In many cases, I probably identify more as Democrat. It just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans. Now, it shouldn't be that way. But if you go back, I mean it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats...But certainly we had some very good economies under Democrats, as well as Republicans. But we've had some pretty bad disaster under the Republicans.”

And did he spend big? Yes. He also brought in orders of magnitude additional revenue to counteract that spend. None of you never Trumpers wanna admit to that.

No, it doesn’t. He signed into law more debt than any president in 4 years in history.

A  - B = C

Revenue - spending = deficit/surplus

And “C” was a record negative number under Trump.

A deficit is the amount of money you spent that you didn't actually have after all revenues are counted.   You can have record revenues... but if you still have a big deficit even after those record revenues, it just means you turned your "spend like a drunken sailor" dial all the way to 11 and then broke it off.

And if he'd had wheels he'd have been a wagon.

What does arguing about the price of tea in chy-na have to do with a massive deficit?    Yeah, if other parts of his policy had remained, it might have ameliorated all of the other reckless spending he signed off on.

Of course, so would not signing off on all of the reckless spending.

He got swept up by all the experts because he didn't know anything to begin with.   That's whats wrong with electing people who don't know anything.

Sure, the President doesn't have to be an expert.   But bragging about stimulus checks tells me he wasn't even a novice.

Who thinks he's going to win?

The few people that voted for Biden in 2020 are going to vote for him again.  But what has been done to convince everyone else that voted AGAINST Trump in 2020 to change their mind this time around and vote for him (or at least stay home)?  Because all we've had is 3 more years of accusations, indictments, trials and continued all-out media blitz against Trump along with anyone/everyone on his "team" (several of whom Trump left out to dry).  Anyone who hasn't been actively seeking any sort of exonerating or vindicating information/evidence about Trump or Jan 6th... isn't going to find it or have it presented to them.  And those people who voted against Trump aren't running around looking for excuses or evidence to change their own minds.

So I ask with complete sincerity, In the past 3+ years, what has changed to make anyone think Trump vs. Biden rematch comes out any different?

My solution is rooted in the reality of what power the President actually has.

He has a veto which gives him (some) power to negotiate with congress for less spending.   This is the President that wrote a book about about negotiating, right?

Our government has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.

Deficit spending is a symptom of the former, and will never be rectified by the latter.

He was elected because he was SUPPOSED TO BE the best at picking and managing people. If that was the case, at some point he should have woken up and said "hey, wait a minute" and figured out a new plan. Instead, when others figured it out and moved a different direction, he attacked them publicly, and still openly states that he doesn't think he did anything wrong

No, it literally doesn't.

Without fixing the spending problem, whatever new revenue the government raises it will always find a way to spend and then some.
