The only reason Dems are holding it back is that they want MOAR BIGGER spending. Originally they wanted another $3T (trillion not titties) but are Now willing to settle for a mere $2T instead of Senate's $1T . Brrrrrrt! |

Look at a couple inflation/buying power calculators. It's a fool's errand trying to save money. I still do though. |

So, is there unspent money and is there a way, or obscure wording in the current law that would allow them to do the 1200, 1200 and 500 per dependent up to 2, without a new law? Otherwise, I don't see a good reason for him to be making this statement. Something is afoot. This plus the mag decision in the 9th and Fauxi stating people should be able to vote in person will be having the Dems totally stroke out over the weekend.

Looks like $1200 x 2 (husband/wife) and $500x2(two dependents)
Pretty much what went around the first time other than he's playing a little loose with the every family |

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Obama gave us carry in National Parks. Trump banned bumpstocks. /media/mediaFiles/sharedAlbum/hes_right_you_know-328.jpg Republicans gave us national park carry by playing a little hardball with a must sign spending bill. What Obama DID try to do was to keep a bunch of people on SS disability from owning guns, which Trump stopped. Trump also narrowed the definition of "fugitive from justice" to allow more people to own guns, signed the fix nics bill and had the doj file a brief in the scotus case against new york (ultimately it didn't matter because of Roberts). |

Quoted: Actually, I have felt that handing out money at the individual citizen level made a lot of sense during this unprecedented crisis. My problem has been with all the "back door bailouts" that have greatly exceeded this amount and largely gone to the financial parasite class of money-movers that do not participate in the real economy (and who were in real trouble several months before the virus, as reflected by the repo market problems). Trump has tried to do the right thing here, keeping the real economy open against Democrats that are actively trying to destroy it. Whatever he needs to do to win he gets a pass on from me at this point. View Quote Anything, so long as he doesn't put a (D) next to his name, right? |

Quoted: Obama gave us carry in National Parks. Trump banned bumpstocks. View Quote Obama proposed several new gun laws but they died in congress. Trump pushed national reciprocity, elimination of gun free zones, and arming teachers. But Trump is a negotiater, don't know what he'll trade to get what he wants. One thing for sure, who controls both houses controls the nation, if Biden gets in, and the democratic platform is a death sentence for the republic. |
