I'm streaming Fox now and the deputy press secretary just said "the bump stock illegally converts a firearm to a machine gun" so obviously that is the line the White House wants to use. I think the only thing that remains to be seen is if the language just affects bump stocks or cranks,triggers,the act of bump firing...
