He drug tail then stomped the rear brake. You can see the rear wheel was at a dead stop. That's what fucked him. He would have been better off grabbing front brake. People don't think centrifugal force be like it is, but it do.

What would grabbing front brake have done?

He went too far back and his foot came off the peg. When he went to put it back he hit the back brake waaayy too hard. He should have rolled off the throttle but he probably couldn't do that when he was falling backward.

Actually, grabbing the front brake with the front end off the ground DOES do something. It’s slight, but when you stop the centrifugal force of the front tire from rotating rearward, it settles the front end down a tad. When I used to ride dirt bikes we would would front brake when the front end got a tad too high and give gas to the rear. Again, it doesn’t due a ton, but it does have an effect.

Grabbing the front brake would have gently brought the front wheel down.

When you jump a motorcycle, you can actually change the trajectory of the motorcycle mid-air by manipulating the throttle and brake.

Also, the centifugal force of the wheel is what keeps a bike upright. The faster it goes the more it wants to stay upright. Think about ghost ridding a bike as a kid. It will roll upright for a long time. It will even right itself if it hits a bump. Once it slows down, gravity takes over. This is more true the heavier the wheel. On a street bike the rear wheel is heavier. A lot of street bike guys won't touch the rear brake ever. They will even disconnect it or adjust it out so it barely works.
