One of the articles I read interviewed one of the protesters who said he was not a student there, so there are absolutely non-students protesting. There are probably a lot of students protesting too, however. When I was there there were protests quite often near the administration building, sometimes for Israel, sometimes against Israel, always annoying with most people ignoring them.

UCI is a commuter school, so there just is not much of student culture there.

I am a fan of the way the IDF takes care of protesters. Identify the leaders and take out their kneecaps with a 10/22. I don’t think any of the useful idiots would be too interested in “being part of the movement” if they had any skin in the game.
