He ruled the first... just can't let Hunt get a lucky shot in. This shouldn't make the third round.

I'm impressed,  Lesner looks legit.

3 take downs on Hunt first round.

Smart gameplan.  Not bad for 5 year hiatus.  Chemically enhanced or not he's a physical specimen gifted with superior genetics.

I did. Regret it but whatever.

Bork Lesman made a good statement about the current political climate. First he gave a "shout-out to all the men and women in uniform who protect this country from sea to shining sea."

Then he said "From one white boy to all nationalities, we gotta stand together people".

That's pretty calm compared to things he's said in the past.

what could of been a great card but all I saw was DC wrestlefuck the spider, an average Brock Lesner(understandable since he was fought in years), at least I got to watch someone light up Miesha Tate.  I want to see Nunez vs Holm; want to see if she can handle a counter striker like Holm.

Nunes can fight. She is legit.
I was thinking wow she punches harder and straighter that some of the dudes I've seen lately.
The guy who fought grey Maynard yesterday, couldn't throw a straight punch to save his life.
Nunes has great hands

Can't believe Lesnar got 2.5 mil for that.  Damn.

And DC lost half his money for not fighting JJ.  Was gonna get 1 mil for a title fight, got 500k instead.  Shit even Anderson got more than DC.   That's brutal.

Don't forget about Joanna Champion.  She lost the first two rounds and comes back with amazing cardio.  Her striking is very very impressive.  Her timing is on point, but her speed and ability string combos is unreal.

Just popped into my head. Wonder if UFC had suspicions that Jon Jones would pop positive, so grabbed Lesner for insurance to save the card.

I still can't wrap my head around why Cormier gets shit on.  Jon Jones narrowly escaped killing a woman and a fetus and then flees the scene only to turn into some hero while Comier gets booed.  Then Jones fails a drug test and is pulled from the card during fights week.  Cormier still booed.  He fights Silva and he gets booed.  Change of opponent/no title fight and 500,000 disappears.

Dude just can't win.  By all accounts he's a pretty down to earth, humble guy.

I think it was more of a general insurance policy given that Aldo/Cain/DC/Jones were on the main card.  All of them had pulled out of fights or had issues in the past.

Yeah, Joanna/Claudia was impressive/highly entertaining (yes, Claudia lost), Alvarez was stunning and for 3 pretty big cards in three nights I'd say all was pretty awesome and heck there's another one come Wednesday.  FWIW, Fight Pass was also once again worth the $.

Not sure what the hell people expect but no way in hell is a realistic DC going to stand and trade w/ A. Silva given all he had to lose and sucks he got booed?  Velasquez, Aldo, and Nunes were pretty 'technically' amazing in PPV and good grief J. Pena whipped Zingano pretty soundly.

Oh well, what do I know?

You got that right. Lots of fragile fighters on one PPV, plus the initial loss of McGregor/Diaz II. I think they even considered dusting off GSP for this card.
