It’s definitely a safer bet for the current champ since the judges generally lean their way in shit like this.
Carla should be aware of that and maybe is since she is at least a bit more on the hunt but still not much of anything worth writing home about.

I can remember two others I remember being excited for and were just as bad or damn near.
One was a heavy weight fight. I think it may have been Derrick Lewis and one was the Wonderboy fight they mentioned during the fight that was just on

If I was Gaethje I'd be pissed about losing an opportunity to win the title because the champ failed to make weight. When you're a full time mma fighter, and the champ, there is no excuse to not make weight.

Allegedly, the hotel scale was miscalibrated. Off by .5-2.0 lbs. Fighters went to sleep night before weigh in thinking they were on, but they weren't.
