I find it funny the OP posted the best looking of the Tundra noses, but then picked the worst Chevy (Chrome HD) configuration.

/Shudder.

The chrome nose Tundra gets my vote for worst of the 2022 half tons. It looks like someone just selected the grill in MS Paint, sized it to 250%, added a set of those screw on decorative window shutters from a tract house, and then let that whole abomination of an assembly push the headlights out of the side of the front quarter panels. And then decided that wasnt enough and added the mutton chop extensions running thru the bumper. Its hideous. The color matched one is better because it helps make the grill appear a bit smaller, but its still stupidly oversize.

And this one just looks like a walrus with braces:

Pretty often the first couple of iterations are awkward. A few tweaks along the way and the look growing on people and it ends up being the best looking, unlike say Dodge, which always looks 10 years past it's time two years after it comes out.

Yep.
GD is largely comprised of Toyota and Ford fanboys though so.
I used to wonder which fanbase's radical elements were more obnoxious and snobby, but the REAL answer appears to be the Tesla guys.

Totally insufferable at times.

IMHO most attractive half tons?
Ford and Ram are tired in 1st.
2nd GMC
3rd Current Gen Tundra and the better chevy trims
4th The nissans
5th the worse chevy trims
6th and last - the new Tundras.

I read somewhere that for some reason, a massive grill is a status symbol in China, so everyone builds their vehicles to appeal to the Chinese. They don't care if it looks stupid to everyone else. They want that China money.

Ram will be the last truck to have a V8 in 1/2 ton. Laramie package rides like a Caddy even with the off road package. If you haven't driven one do it! I have been in some form of Ram since 03. I have had very little trouble, mostly little interior noises and certain years LED's failed in OH console. If you keep the maintenance up and use synthetic, they are pretty bulletproof. Gas mileage in town sucks!
