Got a call from work to stay home for at least the first 3 hours of my shift; guess I'll take the dogs for a walk and then go split some firewood.
Gonna burn up all my PTO if they keep this up.

CTLS-4TAC – Designed for export under Lend-Lease, a total of 420 were produced, originally intended for China. Six hundred 4TACs and 4TAYs were sent to China after Pearl Harbor. The remaining 240 were dispersed for emergency situations, like in Alaska. The armor was doubled and the armament consisted of three 7.62 mm (.30 cal) machine guns, one of which was mounted in a 240° traverse, hand-cranked turret. Under OCM 18526, the CTLS-4TAC was labeled Light Tank T16. All vehicles were scrapped in 1943.  |

Most depts will LA you for the entire shift, because they have a pretty good idea of what their needs will be, but the ER plays this (like everything) a bit more fast and loose than the other depts. But we also get 5 wks PTO/yr, so that helps. |

Almost more of an IFV than a tank (though obviously light tanks at the time were closer to that) The progression of tanks as armies realized that in addition to going over the enemies barbed wire and trenches while shrugging off mg fire they'd need to deal with each other's tanks is fascinating. |

Samoyeds can live in hot weather, but they don't necessarily thrive in warmer weather climates. However, just as their coat protects them from the cold, their coat also protects them from the heat. Surprisingly, their coat can keep them cooler in hot weather than many other short-haired dogs.
