Judging by the writeup under controversy on Wiki - it seems that she has a history of displeasing the CCP. Crimes include wearing a dress that resembled the Japanese military flag 20 years ago, and being lambasted by the communist youth league for hiring a Taiwanese director who was allegedly for Taiwan's independence.

There is absolutely no way the same could happen to the internet in the US. It literally isn't possible.
