Quoted: Any FN 5.7's out there? View Quote You’re going to have a hard time finding slide milling for the Fiveseven since it’s got the polymer slide cover. DT-CAOS however however offers an aftermarket polymer cover for the slide that lets you mount an optic without any milling: https://fnspecialties.com/shop/bundles/dt-caos-five-seven-red-dot-mounting-system-by-dorin-technologies/ Only works with 2nd Gen FS pistols though |

Going to have a difficult time finding anything in the Makarov/CZ83/PPK envelope with a milled slide. The micro red dots like the Holosun 507K that would lend themselves to being put on one are relatively new and most people are hyper focused on the magic micro 9mm pistols (P365, Hellcat, etc) in that size range right now.
I will say this FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO GET AN ODDBALL PISTOL CUSTOM MILLED FOR AN OPTIC (emphasis for attention): CHPWS is known to do one-off custom slide milling that is otherwise not listed on their website. If you have a gun you want milled and can’t find anywhere else to do it, send an email to CHPWS before you give up. If it’s physically possible to do, they’ll let you know and get you fitted up |

I would prefer to have some flexibility in optics but Mk3 is known for excellent work. Their cerakote is pretty high though, $350 for a single color on a rifle. |

Quoted: Yep, I bought the slide separately from Langdon. Paired it with a Wilson guide rod/spring, and a Beretta threaded barrel. Went right on. I have all the Langdon trigger bits as well. Functions great. I kept the original slide so I can still go "old school(ish)" if I want to. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/297684/20210621_135520_jpg-1986464.JPG View Quote The 92 has limited appeal for me, even though I shoot them well; that being said, that is a fine-looking piece. |

Correct, they mill HPs specifically for the Trijicon RMR utilizing the Trijicon brand mounting plate designed to attach the RMR to a 1911. When I’m referring to pistol red dots as a group I say pistol optics, pistol RDS, etc. When I say RMR I’m referring specifically to the Trijicon brand Ruggedized Miniature Reflex pistol optic. This has somewhat become a “Kleenex/facial tissue” situation where a lot of people say RMR to refer to the group of objects in general |

My Glock 19 and 43 both were milled by CHPWS to mount Holosun 507c and k respectively. I had the slides ceracoated by them at the same time.
Attached File My .44 Redhawk mount for it's Fastfire dot started out life as a normal scope mount that held a Burris 2-7X optical scope. The mount used the rear sight groove to mount the rear and a barrel clamp as a front mount. It was just too unwieldy to use freehand with it's 7&1/2" barrel with that telescope on top, so I Bubba'ed the mount to half it's length and machined a single screw hole into the top strap to secure it's reduced length front. It's much, much easier to hunt with now. Attached File Evolution Weapon Systems provided a plate to mount a dot on my Sig P220 after I removed it's original rear sight. Attached File I can't remember where I got the mount to put a dot on my Ruger 22/45. That was 1998 and they cannot be found now, to my knowledge, but it mounted into the rear dovetail and made for a fairly low mount. |

Even on the 92, it's an eyesore. 5926 would be alright, or maybe 5927 in a proper two-tone; black frame and stainless slide. Mags are a bit low capacity for the size, might be able to get 17 rounds into a full size if they partnered with Mec Gar. |
