Guy that used to be singer/songwriter in the local music scene here had a van almost exactly like that. Setup the same way inside with airbrushed metal album cover artwork looking characters.

The 80s were awesome with my Ford conversion van. Carpet everywhere. Bed was pleather on one side, crushed velvet on the other. Closet & fridge.

My cousin who just turned 70 still has his customized late 70's van. He hauls his parents around in it [they are around 100] still as it's really easy to get them in and out. He still drive the thing as far away as Florida. Talking with him at his 70'th birthday party he said he is going to have to replace the valve seals soon as it's getting smoky on start up but at around 200K, it still runs fine.

There’s a ‘documentary’ about guys with vans like that on Amazon I think it’s called ‘vannin’ or something along those lines. I watched it a few years back and almost died laughing when my dad popped up on screen. He loves that stuff, I’d bet good money he knows the guy selling the van in the OP, he retired early and goes all over the country doing van stuff.

My dad bought a used 1980 ford conversion van in the 90's. Paid like $1500 for it. I borrowed it a lot. One time i went to borrow it and he had stripped out the interior. Said he bought a shitty house and was going to fix it up, needed the van for hauling 2x4's and stuff.

I might be in for like $2500 but for 14k he can keep it.
