This stereotype has held to be remarkably consistent for me. Not only does the douchebaggery exist, it also exudes from the area of the car... as though the driver (and I use the term extremely loosely) is excreting douchebaggedness through the shell of the car, making it a veritable beacon of douchenozzle status.

On a more practical note, the underlying issue is usually apathy and entitlement. They won't care about any other person's path of travel, the traffic flow in general, or informing anyone else of their intentions, and will ALWAYS assume they have the right of way, e.g. it it not your spot, or not your turn, or not your lane, etc.

Fuck 'em.

Got it for the safety, value, and AWD. It is stock except for tint and BFL. It is a very fun car to drive.

Green wheels, 100 stickers, and loud exhaust do change things.

I've driven my Avalanche daily for over 8 years, and I like to think that I'm not a douche bag. Having said that every other Avalanche owner I've ever met or seen has been a complete douche. It reallty is a great vehichle and especially for transporting guns to the range. 4 men and an arsenal can be safely loaded up and transported to the range in complete comfort. Having the huge water tight, locking trunk is great for all sorts of stuff. You can move all sorts of stuff that would require a long bed truck in the rain and keep it dry. I've been very happy with mine, but I will agree about the douche bags. (BTW mine doesn't have 20's and it is a 4x4)

Actually... I believe it serves more of a purpose than "attention whoring"

Really fast bikes are incredibly difficult to keep on two wheels. The longer wheelbase helps prevent wheelies.

It's nothing new... and is mostly seen on bikes that are stupid fast.

I have long held the belief that owners of Chrysler vehicles are at least a standard deviation below the mean IQ. Sure, there are outliers, but most Dodge drivers strike me as dumb.

Part of this is based on the concrete observation that most cars that I see that smoke are Chryslers. This could be due to poor engine design/assembly, poor driving habits, poor maintenance, or lack of necessary repair. At any rate, you would have to be dumb to drive such a car in any case.
The only cars that I see that smoke are old piece of shit hondas

Part of it is based on observations of cars and drivers when I was drag racing. The Dodge boys always had bigger engines with more extreme modifications to run the same times as Ferds and Chivvies. Also, it just seemed that Dodge cars were strangely put together; the engineering struck me as oddball.
A 440 is smaller than a GM 454, or a Ford 460. Ford, Chevy, and Dodge all had a 7.0L V8. And the Hemi dominated drag racing from the '60s on.

Then you have the Cummins guys. They'll put up with a piece of shit truck just for the privilege of driving a Cummins diesel.
You must not have any experience with Dodge trucks made after about 2003. Quality has gone up. Regardless of motors, I'd drive any Dodge truck before any Chevy truck (I like better brakes and smoother ride in a Dodge, plus electronic that work).

There's also the political aspect. Chrysler has been bailed out by American taxpayers twice as well as being bought by European car companies. Fail all around.
Company, not drivers.

I know, that's racis.

But, I drive 2 Dodge Ram diesels, and a Corvette. So, I must be a douche.

Truck nuts, glass packs, and Obama supporters are the top douches.

No stacks, but 5" straight pipe. Loud above 2 grand. Only has Umbrella Corp. and HK stickers, but a Cummins "C" is on the way. It's a stick, so it can smoke for a second before it builds boost if you want it to. Not lifted, but clears 35s.

But does a Prius come with an Obama sticker?

If I pass 10 Prius (not even sure how to make Prius plural, as there shouldn't be more than one of the fuckers anyway), 9 of them have an Obama sticker on the rear.

I pulled into one of my stores today and there was a Prius with a " I (heart) Obamacare" sticker on the back. I have never wanted to ram a fucking vehicle more in my life.
