Anyone who claims to have seen Bigfoot and didn't put a bullet into it is a spineless cuck. I don't care if I only have a .22 or shotgun with bird-shot. I'm pumping as many rounds into him as I can. These bow hunters like to these bow fisherman like to fish without gopros or cellphones? Because every person on this planet has at least 1 cell phone in their pocket at all times and each phone has at least 2 if not 3 or 4 cameras in it. Why did they not take a picture or video? Why is it that literally every bigfoot sighting almost never includes pictures or video when we all have 2 or more cameras on us at all times 24/7? Just a reount of a "sighting"? Why is it that the only few pictures or video of a supposed bigfoot are distant grainy blurry out of focus and potato quality? Think about how many gopros and trail cameras are out there in the entire world capturing images of every kind of animal imaginable. Why is it that there are hours and hours of video high quality pictures of every kind of animal imaginable even extremely rare and endangered ones, but not one good closeup picture of bigfoot exists. Not a single one. Why is it that we can find bones of all sorts of animals that died hundreds even millions of years ago but no one has ever found a bigfoot skeleton or even a single bone? Every natural history museum in the country has entire skeletons of dinosaurs that lived 65+ million years ago but none of a recently deceased bigfoot? Because it's bullshit. |

| I was inadvertently responsible for a Bigfoot sighting once. I was solo camping in early May. Weather was shit…cold, windy, rain, snow, etc. wanted to get some fishing in but weather didn’t permit solo fishing from the canoe. I grabbed my pole and hiked through the woods to a spot on this isolated lake. Wild shoreline so I’m crouched under a pine tree. I then see/hear a fishing boat carefully picking its way though the shallow channel connecting this lake to the main flowage. First thought was “Holy crap, other people are crazy as me to be out in these conditions”. They then motor over and start fishing about 50 yards from me. Then I realize how awkward this is because they have no clue I’m there. I’m wearing brown rain bibs with matching brown rain jacket. Finally I couldn’t take it anymore so decided to slowly stand up and back pedal into the woods. But I slipped on some rocks. Fell into the icy cold water with a splash. In shock I quickly ran out of the water into the woods. As I’m recomposing myself I hear the boat motor fire up. They unassed the area wide open not even slowing down through the shallow channel. Pretty sure those fisherman thought they witnessed Bigfoot that day. |

Okay, I'm going to stop sh!tposting and attempt to form a semi-coherent thought. If one holds a materialist worldview, i.e. the physical world is all that there is, then believing in Bigfoot would be a tall order. As others have pointed out, such a large animal would leave physical evidence and we would surely have found it by now. However, if one holds a worldview that acknowledges the existence, or at least the possibility, of something outside of this world, then more possibilities are open. All Christians, and most theists, accept the existence of angels and demons - living intelligences that are somehow outside of our everyday physical world, yet can interact with it and even take physical form at times. If we hold to a classical Christian worldview, we already accept the existence of three distinct categories of living beings: -Creatures that are rational, but not (always) physical - angels and demons -Creatures that are physical, but not rational - animals -Creatures that are both rational and physical - humans Is it then that much of a stretch to consider the possibility of creatures that are neither rational nor (always) physical? Something like an angel, but without as much intelligence, created for a purpose that we might not understand, seems entirely plausible with a Christian worldview. In fact, the Bible seems to describe some kinds of "inter-dimensional" or "angelic" animals, such as the horses that pulled the chariots of fire in 2 Kings 6:17.
