People who want to smoke pot tend to use every reason other than "I just want to smoke pot because I want to", and try to bottle it up as some divine benevolence when in reality they just want to get high. Not saying there is anything wrong with it, but it's usually the case. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/275845/1487212086036-147581.jpg View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

This! I'll bet they where dirt bags when they were in. You want to legalize pot? Go ahead don't tell me it helps Vets with PTSD. View Quote It helps vets with PTSD. It helps people with cancer, it cures cancer, it even can lead to making you smarter! That's right folks, line right up over here and take a gander at the new miracle drug...Marijuana! Just a few puffs of this and you'll be whistlin Dixie and skipping down the lane in no time! Act now, and I can throw in this sweet set of sink screens and this package of Swisher Sweets! Right now I'm not sure what pot does. I thought it just got you high but apparently it does everything but that. I hate horrible salespeople but sort of understand the incremental approach to legalization. |

This. It's fine pumping vets full of drugs to turn them into zombies. Don't let em touch the devil's lettuce though! View Quote But that would never happen. |

Ive seen what weed does for a nam vet and im all for my fellow vets having it medically, especially over that shit opiate crap.

Whatever helps them.
And probably safer than pharmaceuticals. ZFG. |

All the people bitching in this thread won't object to vets treating their PTSD with a handle of gin, nice and legal.

I want to see their fucking service record first. *I do not now, nor have I ever claimed I had PTSD, or PTSD (pre, you dont know the shit I thought about seeing man) Why dont potheads just admit they want to get high? Instead they claim it fixes everything. |

I could see them benefit from it. I have heard it gives the mind time to relax and works well for pain.
But could this be a setup? Get all the vets on pot and then take away their guns? Thats a lot of 2A protectors without guns. Maybe I need more tinfoil. |

Without question this should happen. It would help them with this service connected issue without having to resort to opiods and associated problems. If Sessions wanted to accomplish anything meaningful-but between him and Trump not much chance.Oh,I forgot-Sessions is busy trying to find ways to lock more people up so his investments in privitized prisons will pay him big dividends.MAGA?

This gets me thinking, maybe if you are a combat veteran with at least a CIB, CFMB or a CAB you should be given permission to violate certain victimless crimes. You get to do drugs if you want (VA supplied of course), park anywhere you want, drive in the HOV lane all the time, anything you want basically, as long as no one else gets hurt physically or financially. It would do wonders for recruiting into combat arms. You'd just have to figure out how to keep commanders from giving CIB's, CFMB's and CAB's away to people who didn't earn them.

There it is, we got a pot needles poster. Pot needles is so hip and cool to say. Always so pot needles so you can just mindlessly shut down your opponent on the subject, because who can argue pot needles. Pot needles is cool. View Quote |

Fwiw my opinion on the war on drugs is the war on freedom and should stop. Weed is not the answer and does nothing for mental illness. |

WHY
I realize it is safer than opioids but they need to better define PTSD I took thier test I have worse PTSD from Middle school gym than my combat time BTW the service record does not tell you anything about combat unless the serviceman received a medal. |

I'd rather somebody smoke weed than get shitfaced drunk. A cop buddy of mine always says: "I've responded to tons of domestics where drunks beat the shit out of family members. I've yet to respond to a 'smoked a joint and beat up family members' call."

We need to go to a V.A. Regional Med Center and take a poll with a group of those being treated for P.T.S.D.-but I won't tell you that a lot of them will say pot has helped them more than prescription meds including opiods that the Drs. have them on-just sayin View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I have absolutely no problem with marijuana being used to treat...anything really.

I thought this was going to be a veterinarian thread (which is a thing with the cdb stuff)
Might as well just legalize it all together at this point, then yo can just not worry about it when they go to the store and buy it themselves. |
