Same reason why the logic of posting random people doing the Ok Symbol makes no sense. It's all about INTENTION/CONTEXT and WHY their choosing to do it. Yes, the 4chan ok symbol was made as a prank but it only became an issue when actual Proud Boys and White Supremacist co-opted the symbol and started doing it in photos, at rallies, in courtrooms etc.. It took on a new life at that point. I think most people know this very basic logic but enjoy arguing in Bad Faith and playing dumb. |
