We're seeing more and more signs that most or all of the $300 billion in frozen Russian owned assets will be turned over to Ukraine. While JP Morgan and their peers are far from saints, I'd feel better if they were involved or actively managing those funds than if Ukraine was doing it themselves. While post-Euromaidan, Ukraine has been slowly cleaning up their Russian legacy corruption culture, they have a long way to go. |
