I'm not seeing it on his Twitter. This is the only official statement he put out today.
CHARLESTON, WV – Governor Jim Justice and First Lady Cathy Justice issued the following statement today after learning of the first West Virginian to pass away from COVID-19. “I ask all West Virginians to join Cathy and I in praying for the family, friends, and loved ones of this individual,” Gov. Justice said. “It is truly a sad day in West Virginia.” “We are working around the clock, along with members of my administration, and the top medical experts in our state to do absolutely everything we can to protect West Virginians. “Our healthcare personnel across the state are real heroes,” Gov. Justice added. “They deserve our love and support during this time because they are committed to caring for our citizens that fall ill. “I implore all West Virginians to continue to stay at home, limit their exposure to others, keep practicing good hygiene, and if you feel sick seek medical attention right away. Be vigilant, stay calm and do your part to help us keep battling this pandemic.” DHHR: West Virginia’s First Death from COVID-19 Confirmed For more information about COVID-19 prevention and more, call the State’s toll-free hotline at 1-800-887-4304 or visit Coronavirus.wv.gov.??? I doubt it's TRUE, and it's not really possible, but the fucking idiots from the north need to fuckin go home.

I can't find proof of this but I wish they'd do it. Should have done it two weeks ago. Nobody even adhering to current guidelines anyway. Typical ATVs burning up the road, traffic everywhere. Eat drink n be merry is the attitude I guess.

Are you sure it wasn't the "stay home" order from last week? Sometimes Fuckbook throws old shit on my timeline.

Can he wait until tomorrow afternoon to close the border? I need to run to the Lowe's in Steubenville in the morning and don't want to have to figure out how to smuggle myself and a bunch of cinderblocks back into WV and I'm just too damned lazy to drive to the one in Wheeling instead.

WV is one of the last places I'd go to. Young, half toothless toll booth girl convinced me to not go back, ever. That and the the Wendy's I called the health dept. to report a sheet show on my way though.

Noticed a bunch of Jersey license plates pouring back into NCWV this weekend

Every handicapped space at Valley Medical has a fucking WV tagged vehicle parked in it. The rest are stealing everything they can at the Walmart across the way off Rt. 50. |

I take it back. He's probably on his way to Huntington as we speak. He's going to hit up the Jolly Pirate Donuts, and going to order ten dozen assorted dunkers.
He'll probably get another ten dozen for his staff, but you just know he's going to grab that bonus 13th donut that they give in the Baker's Dozen box. |

NYC residents with homes in the Hamptons bugged out and stripped the local stores of food. The locals were not amused. |

Here in Pocahontas County we're so remote that we're unaffected by the flu pandemic. It's business as usual aside from the schools being closed.
Seeing the usual amount of DC. and VA. tagged vehicles when I venture out. Nothing abnormal to report. |

Any info on this would be good. I am right on the WV/VA border.

View Quote WV has this stupid "Certificate of Need" law, which in a nutshell means that a health care provider needs permission from the state before it can open a new clinic or add capabilities to an existing clinic. This process can take many months. In theory this is to prevent new providers from opening in a saturated market. In practice it means that health care in WV is rationed and expensive. VA and OH do not have these laws so people near the border go out of state for health care. Even with insurance, the price difference is reflected in the copays and deductibles. |

The last at 7-11 was bitching about out of towners coming around. I live in a small town about a mile or two from VA border. I have not seen any more out of staters than usual either. On weekends you can count on seeing DC, MD. and VA plates rolling through. I am essential and have worked every day for the past two weeks. No road blocks in the main road. I did hear a lot of sirens in Friday night. It is actually rare since we don't have a police force. Neighbors three houses down are having a party tonight. I think someone new moved in there.

The Mexican Walmart has much better produce and for some reason really good fried chicken.....the Consuelas must lay the law down. |

By God he better not pull this shit while I’m in Ohio or Kentucky working! ??
I haven’t not noticed a lot of out of state tags this way, but I did notice the KOa (old foxfire) in Ona/Milton looks pretty full for this time of year |
