You can't starve out Russia dumbass. Your not going to bled them out either. It's going to boil down to the Russian population and how bad they want it. I don't give 2 shits about Russia or Ukraine.

Russia has a GDP less than Texas, a demographic death spiral, and a population less than half the U.S. to inhabit the world's largest country.  They're quite bleedable.

Our own fucking Generals were saying that shit pre invasion. Of course, I don’t think they believed Russia was actually going to invade, so they were still representing the Russian military as near peer in an effort to justify all the money we spend defending the Eurofags and enriching all the friends of the program.

It should be blatantly obvious to everyone how duped US taxpayers have been by spending trillions to defend the Europussies from Cold War era scrap metal hardware, floating shipwrecks and jets that fall from the sky from the use of any modern AA weapon.

These guys just keep getting fucked over by politicians, including the politicians that wear uniforms with stars on them.

Russia's own state media propagandists were saying that before they were.

I personally want a military that can monkey stomp any potential adversary.  Being “just strong enough” sounds like a good way to get into a war.

The majority of their units are still intact. Russia claimed the 36th Marine Brigade was destroyed yet videos of it strangely kept surfacing in Kherson pushing the Russians back.

They're still expanding heavily.

He gave another speech today at the center of Bakhmut, asking Zelensky to get civilians out of the city and the surrounding towns and warning about upcoming offenses. I don't know how he has survived this long going to the front lines, he loves to troll but the dude is on borrowed time.

And they didn't even take it yet. Their losses were just to get into positions where they might have a chance to take it eventually.

The Wagner chief is probably one of their better leaders along with utkin despite being war criminals.

Here? He’s wrong.

He’s reached the limit of what penal companies can accomplish as his recruiting in prison was banned and now he’s trying his next shtick, bluffing.

I don't think he's necessarily wrong.

Things aren't going great in Bakhmut for Ukraine....

Prigozhin knows he can't just roll in there and take it and hold, though.  Not with what he has.  Both sides are down to their B team and a knock-down, drag out fight in Bakhmut take a lot of time and losses.

When I said Ukr should negotiate a deal and surrender Crimea...I was called a Russia bot.

Funny how that's exactly how it will end, regardless of whether Ukr negotiates.  It's like they want to prolong the war to get rich or something.

You really think Russia wouldn't have pulled this shit if they got Crimea?

All Russia has to do to win is keep Bakhmut-ing Ukraine, right?

At the current rate it will only take them… *taps calculator* 43 years and 15 million casualties. Cool cool cool.

They have evolved to an attritional war.  So long as Ukraine is giving more than they have been getting it’s useful to stay.  I haven’t seen Ukraine pulling a Stalin style “not one step back” so it stands to reason that the city continues to be a useful battleground for them.
