I need to start learning what wines pair with what foods.


Red meat - Left Bank Bordeaux
White meat - Right Bank Bordeaux
Fish - White Burgundy

Sub out unoaked or oaked Chenin Blanc for the respective Bordeaux if you're a weirdo who doesn't like reds.

I mostly prefer reds, but I've developed an appreciation for white muscadine wines.


I've come to really enjoy French, Spanish, and South American stuff more than anything else lately.


I found an Australian Malbec I liked, and then I forgot what it was called.
Argentinian Malbec is the bomb. It's become my favorite red after I spent time down there for work
