While polls this early are laughable, don't totally blow it off.

Libs are motivated, organized, and have the momentum. Further, as the midterms demonstrated, people don't vote based on the economy anymore.

To win in 2020 the Democrats are going to have to cheat big, they need lots of fake polls to make their cheating look legitimate, so expect more of this, lots more.

Considering that they gave him a 3% chance against Clinton as late at election night and we saw the results, I'd say that their margin of error suggests that Trump will get 297% of the vote.

If you look at historical polling over the past century, it's been quite accurate overall for most elections. It's like some of you have disregarded thousands of accurate political polling results (since polls became a thing) only because of single outlier/anomaly with Trump/Clinton.

I'm not saying you should trust a CNN poll the same way you can't trust a Rasmussen...but you can look at a dozen or so polls and look for an average.

I know it's funny to joke "He's finished now/dropping out any day!" but it's like asking out a thousands girls on dates, getting denied every time, and then ONE TIME a girl says yes. From that point you're convinced of being Casanova based off the single positive result out of thousands that defied the odds.

Just don't get too cocky in 2020.

I think what is most illustrative about that poll is that, of the people they polled who selected the Democrat candidate, the individual ranked the highest is O'Rourke at 52%. Think about that, the person most likely to beat Trump lost his senatorial race against Ted Cruz, who himself lost in the Republican Primaries to Trump in 2016.
