I don't care for fake titties.
And... there are people way WAY past me in jujitsu, particularly Brazilian. I'm the epitome of jack of all trades-master of none. I know a little about a lot and a lot about a little. I can hold my own in a few areas but each of those, there's someone on here who knows more than me. I am in my 50s and I still learn stuff every day. It just sucks when it's for the second or third time. |

I'm not an expert by any means...but I know how to make a company make money. Probably not the best on here, but my office now deals with 7 figure sizes of $$. Its good to be the boss.

I'm fairly certain there's nothing that I know better than anyone else here.

Metrology
I know how to calibrate things and make traceable measurements. I've been doing it for more than 40 years and I'm still working in the field at the primary standards laboratory level. |

I pass memes around on social media.
Not the best, but not bad. |

Anyone else here? Probably nothing to be honest, there's a pretty large amount of people, I'll bet I could fit within 5% though!

Finding honky tonk specials at closing time
I also know a fair bit about Waterparks & Mountain slides and coasters |

Problem Solving...
I facilitate problem solving for a living. I am part of a small group of folks that do this professionally and I'm sure the others arent members here. My value doesn't lie in what I know, but in the questions I ask. |

Vane axial fans, specifically for mine ventilation. And the often associated MSHA 2G approval for explosion proof equipment in "gassy" mines.
Vane axial fans are pretty complicated. Been some years since I moved on to other career. Probably some on here have been around stuff I had a hand in. |

Other than Art, I'm an expert on vintage BMW motorcycles. Even though I sold both the ones I had to send my youngest son to Germany for a year. I've won four show awards with my vintage BMWs and was invited to be a vintage bike judge at Barber Motorsports Park one year. View Quote |

Well, I was brought up on a dairy farm. Went to school to learn artificial insemination. I have "sired" probably 500 calves. That was years ago. I also can rebuild Roosa Master injection pumps with my eyes closed. (Well, except for calibration on the rack) Damn, that was years ago too! I am an old fart! By no means do I know it all, but I know a ton about heavy lift crane and rigging. I can pretty much figure out a way to move anything given enough tools, equipment, crane, or structural support.
That said I can do a little of just about every craft carpentry, electrical, plumbing, pipefitting, ironwork, boilermaking, running heavy equipment, driving truck and trailer if needed. But currently rigging is my job and career path. From 1lb to 1.2million lbs I've quite a vast repertoire of previous experiences |

Old BMW's. I've spent a good part of my life working on them or driving them.

I wouldn’t say I know better than anyone else but I’m certain I know as much about the car business as any other person here, I’ve spent 20+ years as a finance manager at either Ford, Honda, and most recently a Toyota dealership. I used to try to share my knowledge in the frequent car buying/selling threads but then I realized people aren’t really looking for good advice, they are looking for confirmation of what they want to believe. I still always read car related threads because the amount of bad advice and even misinformation has become a source of entertainment for me. View Quote |

I'm pretty good at handling real estate stuff. I've learned that buying and selling real estate doesn't work anything at all like the general public thinks that it does. If the average person knew nothing about real estate, it would be a huge improvement, because much of what they know is wrong.
Before that I spent many years building models (GIS) of electric distribution infrastructure. Along the way I learned a metric ton about troubleshooting/auditing distribution stuff. I'd often do for clients, for free incidental to my paid work, system audits that they'd paid others a ton of money to do, and I'd find stuff others missed. This matters greatly to utilities who have 'must-run' industrial customers on aging systems, but means nothing to the rest of the world. My business back then was very much a niche - and it's pretty much a thing of the past, as most utilities now have good models of their systems. |

Ok I am extremely fluent in BMW bikes from 1955 to 2005, more so in Moto Guzzi from 1972 to 2015, Laverda from the 70's. Mercedes and BMW cars from 1976 to 2017. Its my job, I like to be right as often as possible. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

no idea if better than, but can hang in there with:
reading self reading other people Logic Pool. If you can't run a 5 pack/ 9 ball , I'll likely get the cash. One pocket. Can't run 8 and out fairly often, I win. Don't have much experience with one pocket, I win one handed. Pros are barred unless I decide the weight I get. ha They're on another planet with skills. Reading psychopathology |

Ernst Junger.
Most people know him from his book "Storm of Steel." But I've read ALL of his Science Fiction, and even his bizarre Philosophy/Poetry books. |

I am certain I am the biggest expert on obscure 1980s Danish military knowledge than anyone else on the site.
Also, I might be the top pipe-maker on ar15.com! |

Bicycles made between 1900-1945. I've been buying, selling, collecting them, for 30 years. I love 1930s-1950s racing bikes. Especially Bianchi's. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/181968/20191029_101459_jpg-1282386.JPG Very impressive. |

... already posted an opinion in the thread, but I'd also guess that there are very few here, if any, that know more than me about ballistic transparency engineering, development and testing - ultimately marketed to our military and NATO (aerospace and wheeled vehicles)

I've gotten really fucking good at picking up parts right after I weld them.

While I don't think I necessarily know more about it than anyone else, I guess you could pretty much consider me to be a subject matter expert in magic, conjuring, sleights, illusions, legerdemain, trickery, and sometimes even prestidigitation.

This has been great
There have been some that we all pretty much knew were experts at what they posted. However, there have been some cool surprises as well. I'm impressed with the knowledge that this place has. I swear I learn something new on GD every day. |
