Jesus words are really powerful and touch the heart. Like this one:

I don't know that I have a favorite.  Some times I find a verse that speaks to me in the moment.

Psalm 139 has been one that I memorized as a child and I call upon often.

3Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.

To me, this has always really "humanized" the Bible.
