Alpine Armoring
Click on the vehicle make and model you want to look at, then click on the after armoring tab to see what it looks like fully armored. Imagine the owner of a company that up-armors vehicles will give you, free to use for 3 years, any of the vehicles on the website I've linked to, with a few stipulations. 1. You must make the armored vehicle your daily driver and whenever you travel within 100 miles of home you must drive the vehicle. 2. You pay for all fluids that go into vehicle, but everything else is covered. 3. You can make no money off the vehicle in any way you do not use your current vehicle. While I think it'd be awsome to drive the Rolls Royce, I think I'd take the Denali or S550.There are tons of interior pics of the Denali on the website. Would you drive an armored vehicle for a few years if given the chance or would you pass? |

First Choice would be Toyota 78

Hyundai is gonna be pissed that Korea is occupied by Japan again.

The civi looking Bearcat please. I have not heard good things about Alpine. |
The most economical one. Any of those will be a pain in the wallet to gas up.

Quoted: Hyundai is gonna be pissed that Korea is occupied by Japan again. They think all Asians look alike |

I have some time in driving armored BMW 740iLs. I would take one of those.

I was thinking the fuel economy would be shit with the however many pounds of steel they put into the wheels to make them runflat.
Brink truck. I'd make pickups all over town.
No deliveries though. |
I'd have to go with the BMW 5 series, nice but still easy enough to blend in.
That RCT-3 tank/plow/water cannon thing would make a pretty awesome anti-zombie vehicle. Just needs a crew served or two. |

I'll take the Rover Defender. Since I'm paying for fuel, the I4 diesel (Ford Duratorq?) sounds good to me.

Camry. (invisible, and armored) In my AO, a tinted camry is hardly invisible. IMO an American suv that is factory tinted would blend in more. |

It would get rid of proximity zombies without the noise of small arms fire that would attract more zombies. |

Quoted: Tahoe. Yup. It's low key, has the power to pull the weight, and would be available in 4WD. |
A merc G 500, either of them. Or a toyota with a diesel and 4x4.
How about a Toyota Camry? Can't get more invisible than a Camry rolling up and down mainstreet.
I like my car why would I want to drive around in heavy ass vehicle that handles, accelerates and brakes like shit and guzzles fuel? I don't get shot at on a day to day basis so the cool would wear off after a week and then it would just be a royal pain.
I prefer AFVs with guns mounted on turrets. However, the need to stay low profile is important so I'll take a Chevy Suburban.
I could drive that A8 around here & nobody would even notice it.

Hilux (Diesel and Armor)
If I can't import a Hilux, I'll take the Manual Trans LandCruiser. ETA... After looking at the pictures, I really like what they did with the LC. |

I was all ready to come in here and post M113A3 until I read through the first post, That said, I'd take a 5 or 7 series BMW.
Quoted:
Tahoe. fuck that shit. horrid rear visibility, cheap shitty interior, and no reliability. not to mention horrific fuel milage. Camry |
Quoted: Now that is just awesome. But it I wanted to drive something armored and someone else was paying, I'd dig up the Lockheed "Twister". http://www.amphibiousvehicle.net/amphi/L/twisterspecial/twister-xm808.jpeg |

Listed in order of want.
1. Hummer H1 - Want a regular one, let alone an armored one. 2. Toyota Hilux - Can you say district 9? 3. Mercedes G550/G55 AMG - It's just classy. 4. Landrover Defender - See reason number 1. 5. Landrover Rangerover - See reason number 3. |
