Any ideas or accessories you disagree with?

Well, I wouldn't say it's a current trend, but I always thought BAD levers were ridiculous.

Chinese Optics and the advocacy for them. Used to get you laughed out of any serious AR conversation, now there’s a ton of tier 3 operators talking about their shit China optic being as good as others.

Those weirdos that hang little anime danglies off the handguard.

Agreed, but that thing wrapped around the magazine is almost as retarded. Please don’t call me, Bill. |

I dunno, all my stuff is basic. I'm a simple man. I dont understand why fsb are an issue and why dickmod is hated ( I know mlok tested better).
Other than that, flashy stuff. I dont want a black rifle with red or blue trim. I'm a simple man. Makes life easy. |

1-10's. Eye box is literally worse than looking through a straw.
Offset red dots with an LPVO. Why not get better magnification and a better eye box if you're not going to use the low power side. |

Triggers that cost almost as much as the last lower I built that still has an MBT in it. |
|
-I'll second the red/blue parts thing - maybe a single piece as an accent but it makes the thing look like a toy
-Also battery assist levers, tried to like the bad lever but just kept getting in the way -90% of the products made by Strike Industries. Tacky is the first word that comes to mind (yeah I got some of it too :-) |

Any parts not fde or black and all the skelotonized bull shit. Straight aids I cannot stand that

If you want to say your MBT is a better value Id be inclined to agree with you but if you can’t tell the difference in a MBT-2S and a HSNM then you’re high or incompetent, or you’ve never actually shot them side by side and buying into the poors’ hype. Same freakin people that say BA is just as good as LaRue. Give me a break people. And to that point I’ll actually defend Holosun. Guess what? They put out optics with innovative features that US companies haven’t done, and their reliability is just as good. In fact I’d run a Holosun RDS before any other on my EDC which is why I bought a 507k. Sorry, but the US is a leader in optics, not THE leader. Trijicon pulled a Surefire move and rode on the coattails of their reputation instead of constantly innovating. Others are either catching up or have caught up. If Streamlight fixes their latch issue then I’d say Surefire needs to watch out as their weapon lights are otherwise just as tough, brighter, and have better beam patterns. And they are a third the price. |

I wish someone made a carry handle upper. Can’t seem to find one anywhere. Want a truck gun with bulletproof irons.

Innovation, experimentation and price competition should be celebrated at all levels and in all areas. If something works for you, cool, and if it is different than what works for me IDGAF.
I have five Kahles scopes, but prefer Holosun red dots to current trijicon, EO tech and aimpoint offerings. I have AI, KAC, DD, FN, Larue, Radian, Tromix and PSA and they all go bang and send metal where I want it. I’ve got steel, aluminum and plastic mags - beaten finish to translucent purple and sand master race. Feed and I am happy. I do like minor color variations like Radian charging handles, grips and stocks so I can quickly identify what is what, but maybe that’s only a problem if you have more than one rifle. The dumbest trend in the AR world is people who think the AR is a finished platform. |

Quoted: Holosun instead of Aimpoint or Trijicon. View Quote To a point yeah, at least on a HD/Duty gun. People need to stop pretending Holosun is as reliable as Aimpoint or Trijicon, its flat out not even close and I have no problem saying that as someone that owns and likes a few Holosun dots. But Aimpoint and Trijicon need to catch up on features that the chinese optics have that are obviously in demand. |

Man if there was ever a “FPNI of the year” award....
