Why would people want all the banks to collapse? That would result in the utter collapse of our entire economy. People don't seem to understand that almost the entire private sector depends on loans from banks to keep their operations running. Whose gonna step in to fill the void? The government? Is that what you want? |

Is that what you want? What loans? I work with a shit load of small businesses and developers. They can't get a loan to save their ass. The Banks took the TARP cash, invested in T-Bills, reaped a profit on the cash WE gave them and gave it as bonuses; what are the Banks really doing now except self enrichment? Buying other Banks? They were supposed to use the TARP cash to loan money to business. To stimulate the economy. If it all collapses and we start over, great. First thing we do, abolish the Fed. Lets get control over our economy. Will it hurt? Fuck yea, it will. But it can be done. Enough's enough, Banks are the peacetime equal to war profiteers. |

Surprised? News? I don't think so. |

I understand that BOA sucks and is deserving of collapse, but I have a hard time believing that they are the only target. The whole reason this guy is doing this, is to bring us to our knees. BOA may be the subject, but what will be the effect? What is the collateral damage that goes along with it? This guy wouldn't even be doing this if it was just going to hit one bank.

He's not going to release jack shit. It'll be some nonsense about bankers being slimy bankers, and everyone will make it out like it's some massive revelation.
I highly doubt there will be much illegal activity displayed, it'll be more like "look how greedy and callous these evil Fat Cat (rabble rousers _love_ that term) bankers are!?!!" than "These banks committed actual fraud or other illegal acts". I'll be bored out of my skull by it, I expect. I don't care what bankers do, within the law, or how slimy they are. It's just more rabble rousing. |

I don't understand how anyone can be against him revealing these documents on BOA. The only way they can be damaging is if they in fact are doing something they are not supposed to be, in which case anyone that does business with them has a right to know what is going on. If everything is on the up and up then whats the big deal? Somehow I doubt he would waste his time if that is the case however.

Like others have iterated, Fuck BOA, I withdrew all and future business after they establish special products that catered to illegals and were a heavy participant/recipient in TARP. They also purchased, the worst of the worst mortgage lender, Countrywide. Countrywide's underwriting standards were nothing short of fraudulent. They sliced and diced shitty mortgages and sold them as AAA securities. I can't wait till the bad debt implodes and all the big banks are FORCED to realize their losses. I am also hearing that many big banks are setting aside legal funds to fight investors who intend on "pushing back" i.e. making the Banks buy back all the shitty mortgage-backed securities that were misrepresented when originally sold. If I was in the market to short, I would have some heavy puts on BOA or Citibank. My only question is, why is Assange waiting to drop this potential bombshell? I was originally with Countrywide. And yes they made it look like I was making good money and this house would be a rental unit. I am going to try to get BOA to work with me and refinance me, a 10% interest rate is killing me. But I think I will be foreclosed on instead. Sucks to be out of work for two years due to my liver disease. My poor wife has been trying to do it on her own but it just got out of hand. 50B of TARP was earmarked to help people to refinance to stop foreclosure. Less than 800M has been used since banks make more if they take the home and sit on it. |

Oh; and FUCK Soros and all the pricks throughout the world that want to see our Nation brought down. Lets not forget the traitors in Washington and their supporter's. The greatest of all of which are the Bankers. If the Government wanted to really do something to protect and preserve our Republic, Federal agents would be bussed to Wall Street and mass arrests and confiscation of records would occur. NO institution is "too large to fail"; especially those that have sought to profit from our current financial crisis. Why did Lehman Brothers fail but we bailed out AIG? Couldn't possibly have anything to do with the fact that AIG owed Goldman BILLIONS on CDS's, did it? And that Goldman's ex-CEO was Secretary of the Treasury? Why aren't we all up in arms about these crimes? All we seem to want to complain about is Obama and his citizenship. FOLLOW THE MONEY. You sound like a ranting nutcase. How about -
BofA was one of a handful of banks that specifically catered to illegal aliens, and took advantage of the Democrat-fostered forced mortgage lending programs (from FDR, Johnson, Carter, and defended by Frank and Dodd against all calls for review), steering illegals thru the process of establishing phony businesses so they could obtain a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) which is the other form of identification (than a SSN) that mortgage lenders can legally accept to enter into financial contracts. Thus enabling illegal aliens - who aren't even legally allowed to bank accounts in this nation - to obtain NINJA loans in the overheated markets. Loans whose downstream balloon payments and rate increases were utterly unpayable by the illegals and poor fraudsters obtaining the loans - which every banking official in the chain got bonuses over. Then, in the 2007-2008 period with the hook set, those first rounders took out equity loans, stealing the inflated paper value in 'real' dollars, then selling the homes thru the same agents to teh next round who similarly rode the bubble-escalator and repeated the equity cash out or got caught holding the bag as the overall market collapsed. And those are the folks that just packed their shit and drove away from the scam for parts unknown. The above is true. Shit like this actually happened. Some bank and mortgage officials are facing criminal investigations over it. There's a particular ring in Riverside CA that is responsible for much of the fraud in that region's bubble. And BofA, CountryWide and others FUCKED US ALL by indulging in these outright scams, knowingly and with the connivance of democrat pols, who geared the FannieMae / FreddieMac machinery to swallow all teh poison. While their cohorts in govt-connected financial firms like Goldman-Sachs casually traded all the repackaged bad mortgage loans as if they were tangible assets. This entire country was LOOTED DELIBERATELY, to destabilze our economy, gut the middle class, tie us to our soil, and help the marxists rising in power to reduce us back to serfdom and totalitarian dictatorship. |
