16" rifle, 30-round mag, with Larue M68 CCO mount, Aimpoint Comp M2, Arisaka 600 IR/White light with Surefire SR07 switch, Perst 3+, mounted on a lightweight MLOK rail, Magpul sling...
9.9 lbs. |

Too much. I much prefer stock m4 hand guard but where would I stuck a flashlight? So, fucking kac ras it is.
The fuggin eotech weighs a full pound and the bayonet another, but at the end of the barrel it translates to like another three lbs. |
|
My go to rifle has an anti-gravity device installed. So zero. But it does take a little getting used to.

View Quote There's an adapter that clamps onto the FSB that gives you a section of pic rail where you can mount a 1" light in a set of scope rings. Probably the simplest solution ever to that problem. OP, I have no idea what my HD carbine weighs. It was really light until I added a LPVO. Now it's kinda heavy. |

8.9 lbs.
I have no idea. BCM Recce 14 with an Aimpoint PRO, M600V and IR laser. It’s really light and well balanced, except for the laser. |

9.0 lbs with loaded mag
Colt M4 Carbine with the Magpul MOE furniture Aimpoint Red Dot Back up iron sights Flashlight mounted up front Sling |

Quoted: I’m guessing somewhere around 9.5lbs with the can, unloaded. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/294984/48BF0661-B4F0-4177-8B0D-84FAADA23842_jpe-1506752.JPG View Quote That’s 12-13 lbs |

Mk18, PA Glx 2x, elzetta light, and a turbo k.
So probably 8-9 lbs loaded. |

13 pounds with 20" bull barrel, 3 lb lead weight in the stock, 1/2 lb lead in the grip and counting the bipod and 15x scope
although my idea of 'goto' may not be normal |
|
11.5 lbs loaded. It has an extra heavy 20 in Douglass stainless barrel on it. I haven't scoped it yet, so that's another pound or two. On the positive side, there isn't much muzzle rise.

A little over 6 pounds with a loaded mag I believe - it's an SBR with a lightweight 12.5 in barrel, A1 fixed carry handle upper, standard CAR grips. No lights, no other accessories. I do have alternative heavier options though - a 10.5 SOCOM barreled upper, or a 11.5 railed upper with optics, light. Or a 14.5 inch SBR with RAS, laser, light, optics.

Two ARs, both setup for NRA High Power. One is Compass Lake, the other White Oak Precision. They are maxed out according to the rule book from ~2005.
So, 13lbs each, I think. m |

Quoted: Me, too!!!! I thought my Sharps 1874 was heavy (13 lbs). My Bench AR-10 build weighs about 15 pounds. My goto rifle is right around 7.5 pounds empty. It feels like a feather compared to most of my other guns. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/23042/C7A1-433926.jpg View Quote That’s a beautiful rifle sir. |

Not to be a dick OP, but your '' seemed to be an invite for comment. I see a lot of CA compliant rifles where owners try to compensate for the fact it is a ban compliant rifle by adding a bunch of extra shit to make it more coolerer. Usually there is a bunch of extra shit on the CNC receiver and the controls have some added doodads. Is all that necessary? Is the nub on the forend or flashlight mount critical? How much weight could you save if you simplified the front end?
