Also this. The CZ Safari Magnums are pretty tempting, but I'm not sure what caliber I want
View Quote

@AK-12

If it's a range toy then just get whatever, but if you actually plan to hunt with it I'd get the Model 70.  The CZ is really accurate OOTB and very well built, but the bolt really likes to bind on the 550 action and becomes a hindrance if you are trying to cycle fast.  You almost need to send it to have work done on it to get it to be reliable.  The Model 70 action is insanely smooth out of the box and better built, IMO, than the CZ and I say that as someone who is a CZ obsessed fanboy.

Mid-higher Tier AR15. Probs a Gisselle Duty Rifle.

Tikka TacA1 or a SAKO TRG-22 (Wanted the SAKO for over a decade, starting to think they are a bit obsolete though)

Another CZ pistol, leaning towards the TSO.

TRG-22 is a fabulous rifle if you want to shoot .308. A family member has one and it is impressive. Downsides are a delicate safety mechanism, and mags that are expensive and rare.

In no particular order:

4” S&W 629
8” S&W 629
20” Colt AR15A4
Bergara B-14R carbon fiber
Threaded lever gun in 357 or 44 or 22 or all 3 probably
Benelli m2 20ga for turkeys
Benelli montefeltro silver 20ga
Beretta bobcat factory threaded, if they ever actually release them

There’s more but those are the ones that are at the top of the list.

I really want one of these, I really do. A Marlin Model 1895 SBL .45-70 one shot sends man flying backwards.

I used to have a huge list of must haves. Once I bought my Ruger PC carbine that list kinda disappeared. Its such a fun gun to shoot that I really dont have any desire for anything. I have considered getting a glock that is interchangeable with the mags from the Ruger. The only thing that might still get added to my safe is a Taurus Raging Hunter. I have no idea why but I kinda want one.

Someone posted on here last year that the dealer price bottoms out at $630. So don't expect ever find one cheaper than that new. And with how few are produced I wouldn't expect to find a used one cheaper than that either.

I'm currently thinking real hard about a Remington 700 AAC-SD in 6.5CM.

I already have the AAC-SD's in .308 and .300BLK, so I might as well complete the set.

Sig Sauer MPX.  I've put off buying one due to cost and because I've always been on the fence about PCCs, but every time I shoot one it puts a smile on my face.  That and PCCs are lighter, smaller, and easier to handle than rifle cal.  That's good for people of small stature and low upper body strength, like old people, women, and millenials.  9mm is also insanely cheap, even in today's ammo market.  The MPX is expensive to buy, but cheap to own.  Same can't be said for 300BO(unless you reload, which I don't).

Ohhhh I like that 44 marlin dark OP. Very nice.

My main goals this year are to obtain:
1) Wizard eyes (or should I say eye, since I'm saving for a WP-14)
2) Sig Cross (probably in 308 at the start)
3) a SBR/pistol in 300blk (hoping the Jakl works out, but a short folding stock 300 one way or another)
