Nice run on Calm Before the Storm.

My best time is 9.20 with 11A 4C 1D. Something like 65%….

I blame my slow reloads

How long did it take you to get to M?

I've been shooting USPSA for about 4 years now. Was terrible with a handgun and I wanted to get better. After about 2 years I decided I was improving a little and wanted to take it seriously. I got a membership and started to dryfire a bit more. Classed initially as C, a few months later I went to B. I was B for 1 year and 5 months before I shot a 92% at a major match and received a double match bump M. That was last month. Total time as a member and taking it seriously is just under 2 years.

I started in October and just made B a couple weeks ago.  Last night at the local match I was 5th/18 in CO and I think 86%…. Majors are another story.

Being disciplined enough to dryfire regularly(my opinion is that “regularly” means 45 minutes a day 5 days a week minimum) is an issue for me.

I know I won’t improve without it.  Guess I should get going better

When I'm regularly dryfiring, it's typically about 4 times a week with 20-40 minutes per session. I've got some set par times that I aim for on specific drills and then I add in some bonus material that I want to work. That almost always includes reloads and I'm working on bar hop as well currently for a bit of movement.
Most of my live fire is done at matches which is a pretty big shortfall in my current training.

Gotcha.  I try to throw barhop in every 2nd or 3rd live fire session.

I TRY to get to the range once a week, and typically go through 450-500 rounds in an hour of shooting.  Maybe hour and a half depending what kind of thing I’m working on.

Shooting that much should yield results pretty quickly! I listen to quite a few podcasts about it that I think helps as well.

Yeah I listen to all of them.

My goal was to get to A by the end of 2023.  Time is running out.

Also I am limited to an indoor range currently and the depth is about 11-12 yards.

Needless to say I have a lot of issues with 20-25 yard targets.

I should have paid closer attention in my literature classes...

From Dick Driver to Dickens, you are a broad and well versed man.

8 pages.

My opinion was correct. GD never fails to deliver. I see for the most part we have some pretty solid folks on this site. Some...you need to take a good look in the mirror.

Some folks said... why can't OP form his own opinion. I already said my thoughts in the original statement.

I rest my case....some people just live to be internet trolls.
