And a good color combo too

If I hit the lottery tomorrow one of my first purchases would be a 64 Continental convertible.
I'd have it painted the darkest gloss black, blood red top and interior, new Predator engine, custom billet wheels to look like the old hub caps ect. |

Is a cool car loud or quiet?, lots of chrome or all blacked out? ,old or new? Hand built or factory?

Cool, to whom? For a chick? MOST women want something nice and shiny that doesn't stink, whether it's from the 1920's or the 2000's. Most cars that guys think are cool are only cool to other dudes....My rusty big block 1970 Chevelle with a set of rims and a cam two sizes too big draws the "Man that's cool! I used ta' have one o' them!" guys at every gas stop....the occasional female that likes it has daddy issues, which unfortunately does me no good, as I'm married.
My 78 Fairmont with a full 1998 Cobra drivetrain and interior swap is only liked by other car dudes who like something different, or appreciate what it took to build, and that it sounds ridiculous at 6,800 RPM. Women, strangely enough, don't seem to bite their lip as I cruise by in a baby blue 1970's economy car that's shaped like an Amazon box. The lone female I know that REALLY likes the car is an adorable blue eyed blonde haired little girl that says "Dada your pretty blue car shiny" I drove a Laguna Blue 94 Miata for about a year....threw a set of wheels on it and women loved that car. It was rare I didn't get a compliment while driving it at a stoplight or a drive through. So, for me, if I was a single guy looking to meet a women I'd buy another Miata in a heartbeat. Guys that make fun of Miatas have no idea what they're missing out on. Those same guys cream their pants asking me to "Do a burnout!!!" At every stop light, and women roll up their windows so they don't have to hear or smell my red Chevelle. The coolest car ever made is a Saleen S7, for the record. They look like a fighter jet with the wings removed. I'd also give a nod to a 1963 1/2 Galaxy lightweight in white with red wheels. |

Whatever I'm driving.
Fuck the haters. Buncha judgmental cisheteronormal creeps. (started a Jeep thread earlier) |

Literally anything that does not have nanny state bullshit (ABS traction control 87 air bags traction control stability control) and feeble wheel drive.
Especially if it's V8 and stick. I'm easy to please. V8 4-5-6 speed. No ABS no traction control no stability control. Unless it's a land yacht suicide door Lincoln Continental or 60s coupe deville. Then I'll settle for automagic. |

I saw one of these today
Attached File wheeling down the road in a DOWNPOUR. He was right behind one of these Attached File They both deserve props for actually driving their cars, weather be damned. (I see the purple SV quite often, I haven’t seen that particular NSX until today) |

Saw somebody out in one today while I was out making my rounds. Probably the last good day of the year and he was taking advantage of it. Sounded good, too. http://st.hotrod.com/uploads/sites/21/2007/08/0709kc_01_z-shell_valley_427_sc_cobra_replica-front_right_view.jpg View Quote Pretty much the one “old” car style I absolutely love. Well, that and maybe a ’62 corvette, but the former is readily available these days. I remain in a state of perpetual jealousy over the arfcommer who has a green one in his avatar. |
