Tell us about your local brews.

Here is my favorite. There is a pizza company, broken tooth, moose’s tooth and some other mountain tooth.

Huntsville beers/breweries are God awful.  The only thing that Yellowhammer and/or Straight to Ale have going for them is the ambiance and outdoor seating of their respective locations.

Even before they were sold to Kirin, there's no way that Bell's could be considered a "micro brewery" as the 7th largest brewery in the country.

Bells Oberon is delicious.  I can't find it by me anymore.

In Cincinnati we have Reingiest.  They make several different styles.

I like the food at Straight to Ale but if I am going to drink beer I am going to Yellowhammer. The Rebellion is very good. I still prefer Truck Stop Honey though. Although the can/bottle artwork is phenominal, I don't really like Straight to Ale's beers.

The way Stone Middle School was repurposed into Campus 805 is very awesome.

If you're going to just drink beer, head to The Nook.  Best beer garden around.

My favorite is the Nut Brown Ale from here:

Oak Pond Brewery

Haven't been there since '19, high time I took a trip over to fill my growlers.

Goose Island or Revolution Brewing.

I like to head up just over the border in Wisconsin and get some Spotted Cow from New Glarus Brewing if I want something different than a Euro import or macro.  I'm not much on IPAs and all that stuff.

Against The Grain in Louisville has some good beers. Some are hipster garbage, but they have some real winners as well. Bonus that it's available in just about every liquor store in southern Indiana.

Smallest town in America with a brew pub. They always have four stable beers on tap but they also have 4-6 seasonal or special brews going on too. They use local bought ingredients and are super involved with the community. Pretty sassy barmaids.

Really depends on what kind of mood Im in.  Sandhills makes some fantastic oak-fermented beers with their Chickadee (Berliner Weisse) being my favorite. Transport, Kansas Territory, Central Standard, Hopping Gnome, Three Rings, Salt City, Sandhills, Lost Evening, Red Crow, Pathlight, Limitless, Fields & Ivy, Lawrence Beer Co, Servaes.  So many local brewers making good beers here its hard to choose at times.

450 North, but it's 3 hours away from me. There are others, but not nearly as good. 3 Floyds is a good runner up, also 3 hours away from me, but at least it's available at local stores.

All solid choices.
I’ll throw in a couple.

No Label - not out there or weird, just solid consistent beer

Equal Parts - awesome staples, awesome limited brews.

NoVA has so many microbreweries it's hard to pick one. Port City, Old Bust Head, and Adroit Theory are some of my favorites.

I also love DuClaw out of Baltimore, MD - they make super wacky beers like Unicorn Farts (a sour made with Fruity Pebbles).

Mustang Sally's Crumbs series is a favorite of mine, too. The Dulce de Leche Apple one they did recently was awesome.

Cool. Yeah, I'll definitely check them out when I get a chance.

I've only been to that stadium once... and it was ~15+ years ago when I lived in Woodbridge briefly, lol.

Also on DuClaw and their reputation for weird beers - apparently someone asked them at a beer fest "don't you make any regular beer?"

So now they make this.

Solid choice.

My go to is Suzy B from Southern Prohibition in Hattiesburg. I haven't had a single Southern Prohibition beer I didn't like.
