Cut aways firearms are cool, having a cutaway that you can fire is even more baller
Arfcom where most shooters dump a couple mags into the berm on a range acting like they are operating in the jungles of Nam or trenches of Verdun |

Because it's still the United States of America and we fucking can. At least for now...
But yeah, ugly. |

I have a build in my mind that I haven't started yet. I want to build something as lightweight as possible. A receiver set like that is in my mind.

It’d be cool to use to teach others about how the internals work. But it looks like a problem looking to happen in regards to stoppages and malfunctions.

I'd atleast have to do some kind of vinyl wrap or something to seal it up .

Unsupported, hardened aluminum is really tough and won't develop stress cracks.

I think it's kinda cool. I'd like to have one on/for a "demonstrator gun". I think it would be cool to show how everything works.
Regarding the "why"...have you seen the time devoted on this site to fake battle wear on rifles? |

What's the price?
No interest but if it cost the same or more than a good mil spec set.....don't see the attraction. |

An AR is cheaper than a painting.
Build one and hang it in the man room as a curiosity. |

Like face tattoos, they appeal to people that scream LOOK AT ME!!!

Sometimes I like seeing wild paint on cool cars. It ain’t shit I’d want on my rod but I’m glad someone does something different. Of course wild paint isn’t asking for your engine to seize up but in America if someone wants a crazy gun they damn well should have it.

I've wanted to get one to reduce gas to the face when shooting suppressed.
I could do without the paint job though. |

put a PSA JAKL upper on it and full Strike industries kit, and I might start to think that Dianne Feinstein had a point

For those who wants to over clean and over lube at the same time.

That have purchased them for "Just in case SHTF" have ARs similar, or look just like this! I even know of two that have parts on their rifles they bought from Wish.com. To each their own I guess... |
