Until the store owners themselves push the mall owners to deal with loitering, it will only get worse. If the mall owners have to hire an officer to do trespass duty and boot the thugs and come up with rules concerning loitering and group size, people who want to buy good will go elsewhere.

Many malls do just that.  For example; a code of conduct that includes teenage groups limited to three, no loitering, under 17 has to leave by 7PM unless with parents or other guardian, no gang symbols, no underwear visible, etc.   Add a visible security staff to identify and enforce the CoC and off duty police on weekends to make trespass arrests for those who refuse to leave when asked, and a mall can get the problem under control.

I ordered an AR15 optic off of Amazon last night yesterday at 2:02pm.  Got an email at 4:30 this morning that it had already shipped, and will be delivered Tuesday.  I am a hermit.  I have no need to interact with the FSA.  I chose the free shipping.

The day will come when most of these malls will be gone because of the flash mob shit and the gang violence.
It doesn't really matter if you go to one in the nice area of town, one post on social media and next thing you know, flash mob.
This is why we can't have nice things because the few are screwing it up for everyone.

The mobs move in, the people stop coming, online shopping sounds better every day.

Yup but having the ole bus stop there doesn't hurt and with social media/phones/texts everyone knows to go there at a specific time because rarely does anyone get arrested.

I'd love to cross reference when these actions occurred (for instance, at the Monroeville Mall the day after Christmas) with specific bus schedules...BRB.

Yep

Communists have been recruiting and spreading their message in Ferguson since day 1 of the "protests."

ETA: And I know some may use the word "communism" to the point of it being cliché, but the people behind this are no joke, red youth type communists.  Which should be evident by the fact that it has turned from protests of police, to protesting normal people out shopping and eating.

The handlers have managed to turn it into an anti-capitalism movement more so than an anti-police brutality movement.  They are being used, though I doubt they really care.  The handlers also believed, IMO, that by using "black live matter" as the face for their new movement, in order to try to mainstream the anti-capitalism movement, that anybody who disagreed with it would be labeled
"racist."

However I don't know if they are aware of how much they have alienated normal people by the way they have gone over the line.  It is one thing to hold up pickets outside of a police station.  But between the riots, blocking traffic, trying to shut down malls when people are out with their families (including instances of kids not getting to go see Santa) and doing the "black brunch" (in a very liberal area to boot), and most recently the egregious way they treated the US WW2 veteran in the ceremony to honor him (even the most anti-military of liberals for the most part still support and respect WW2 veterans from what I have seen) they have alienated a lot of people that might have otherwise supported them...and in their effort to mainstream the anti-capitalism movement they are left only with supporters who were radical leftists from the start.

Mr. and Mrs. working American, despite their political beliefs, for the most part are disgusted with what is going on.  It is just that they don't really get a voice.

Black Lives Matter Mpls to urge no charges at Bloomington meeting

Black Lives Matter is asking supporters to attend a Bloomington City Council meeting on Monday to urge the city's attorney not to press charges against organizers of a protest at the Mall of America last month.

Bloomington City Attorney Sandra Johnson told MPR News a few days after the protest that she planned to file charges against protest organizers for participating or aiding an unlawful assembly or aiding a public nuisance. She also said she was planning to seek restitution from protest organizers for additional security costs incurred by the mall.

In a 1999 decision, the Supreme Court of Minnesota ruled that a group of protesters—animal rights activists handing out anti-fur leaflets—weren’t protected from arrest for trespassing at the Mall of America. The protesters argued that the public funding that went into the mall, and the invitation to the public to gather there, should come with a chance to speak freely inside. But the justices weren’t convinced: “While the public is invited to many privately owned places to shop, dine, or be entertained,” they wrote, “the invitation creates only a license which may be revoked, as it was here.”

Like I said in one of the other threads, between the Die-In/Hands Up 'protests', the thoroughfare blockages and the mall wilding sprees, we may be witnessing the death of the concept of 'public space' in America - as soon as you walk out your door, you essentially consent to be held hostage by every attention-whoring nutcase and thug-life wannabe out there.

Natural consequence of a worldview that sees consideration for others as an unreasonable constraint instead of a societal benefit and glorifies so-called 'civil disobedience' as a civic virtue.

From their draft of a new US constitution:

http://www.revcom.us/socialistconstitution/SocialistConstitution-en.pdf

In order to bring this new socialist state into being, it would
be necessary to thoroughly defeat, dismantle and abolish the
capitalist-imperialist state of the USA; and this in turn would
only become possible with the development of a profound and
acute crisis in society
and the emergence of a revolutionary
people, in the millions and millions, who have the leadership of
a revolutionary communist vanguard and are conscious of the
need for revolutionary change and determined to fight for it. To
work for this objective–to hasten while awaiting the emergence
of these necessary conditions, with the goal of revolution and
ultimately communism clearly in mind–is the strategic orientation
of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA.

My GF and I like to go to the mall and look around, she tries on dresses at places like H&M and New York and Company, so that's a bonus.  One of the local malls, Chicago Ridge, had a disturbance and allegedly "shots fired" but the mall closer to my home is more upscale.

I was at Easton Town Center here in columbus Saturday night. It is a hybrid mall and shopping center. There were cop cars everywhere. I counted 4 in a 1/4 mile with the lights on. When I came out of Lowes there were two at a bus stop. They had all the people off the bus and it looked like they were separated into two groups.

The bus brings in the hood rats. Hood rats ruin the mall. A few years later the mall is boarded up.
