Just spun this one on wax.

MAJESTIES - Vast Reaches Unclaimed (Full Album) 20 Buck Spin

If you like early/mid 90s Gothenburg melodic death metal, like early In Flames or Dark Tranquillity, you have to listen to this album.

Hamilton.  I know the writer / lead singer is a boring leftist, but the music is very well done, with some funny and memorable lines.

Plus any album with songs titled "The Adams Administration", or that has the line "lets show these Federalists who their up against - Southern MotherFucking Democratic Republicans!" gets my history buff seal of approval.

That Herb Alpert whipped cream album reminds me of road trips with mom & dad. I swear they had 15 Herb Alpert 8 tracks in the glove box. I have a great-condition vinyl of the Whipped Cream album. I like it.

I still buy vinyl & CD's at thrifts, yard sales, flea markets  and Goodwill's.
I had probably 300 CDs I bought myself from back in the day. Now, that they go for about $1, I probably have 600+ in total. Maybe 300 vinyl records.

I rip the CD's to digital for casual listening. For serious listening, its CD & Vinyl format played on high end vintage units that I collect and refurbish.

I have aux input in the car, and over 400 full albums in digital stored on internal memory & a huge SD card in my phone. However, I do prefer the sound straight from CD. My vehicle still has a CD changer. I grab 6 discs a week sort of 'at random' and listen during my drive to/from work. It just works- no fiddling with cords, Bluetooth bullshit, and hunting files and tapping a phone screen.

This week, they were: Europe- The Final Countdown, Rush- Counterparts, Rush- Moving Pictures, Bon Jovi- New Jersey, April Wine- Nature of the Beast, and House of Lords- Sahara.  I went through them all several times.

The album on the platter of my turntable at the moment is Sammy Hagar- Montrose.

Last song on our set list was "Hallelujah is Our Song".  In that same set list was "In Christ Alone" which is Keith and Kristyn Getty's most recognized song.  Those two are mentioned above.

Before that, it might have been Rush 2112, nobody said they had to be current releases. Sometimes I dig for the DEEP cuts.

Thought it would link to the album, but I goofed.

Still, you get the picture.  Whole album is insanely good, if your into synths and all that.
